I would agree that it didn't really move the FPS genre forward, but you can't deny that it moved multiplayer forward.
SO Agreed^
Agreed. While that particular picture was just a concept mock-up, I think it will very closely resemble the final product because it maintains the same look as the PS4 controller prototype, while also looking much more polished. Personally, I think the controller will be amazing.
Eh, I think you're grasping at straws with ambition like that.
The Wii U is only "Slightly" more powerful than the PS3 and 360.
Sony and Microsoft are not going to release new consoles that aren't more powerful than something "slightly" more powerful than their current systems.
Honestly, no offense man, I support Nintendo and everything too, but that's just stupid thinking.
@Smashbros29, Everyone has a right to an opinnion, but sometimes you need to keep it to yourself. In cases like this, it very much appears that you're trolling.
I feel like such a nerd for being as obsessed with JRPG's, anime, and all that stuff as I am lol.
A perfect example of that... Demon's/Dark Souls. Tons of back story and lore, but not a single cutscene aside from the intro and when starting main boss fights.
I agree with both of you here. While yes, that's really the only reason people play SSB, they could have at least put more effort into making Brawls story at least more fun to play through.
Like, in Melee, Adventure Mode was the closest thing to a story mode the game had, but it was insanely fun to run through. In Brawl, Subspace Emissary was just flat out boring... Not to mention, it completely ruined the fun of unlocking new characters since it just handed them all to y...
Lol, I can just imagine Gabe rolling over the Earth's surface like a bowling ball, crushing all who defy him.
You know, I gave you a disagree without really thinking much into it... But you're right, about Crytek anyways. Those guys are talented as hell, but they are some of the biggest douche bags out there.
So just pretend one of those disagrees is an agree lol.
I would have to say, without a doubt, Duke Nukem is by far the biggest douche in gaming. So I think the decision for the picture is very justifiable.
Anyways, as for the article itself, some of the choices I agree with, but most of them are completely stupid that could easily be replaced by much, much better options.
Too bad you can't Fus Ro Dah in Oblivion ;)
His friends didn't even leave him, he left them! What a douche.
heh, nice pun; gave me a good chuckle.
Yeah. Personally, I can't wait for a possible PC port. Imagine the mod support a game like this could get.
Snake shouldn't be in Rising simply because it isn't his story. I mean, maybe a small cameo, kinda like with Raiden's cameo in MGS4 but quite a bit smaller. I couldn't image Snake playing any sort of major role.
Not here on N4G though! Lol...
I loved Dragon's Dogma... So so much. Which is ironic because I hate Capcom soooooo much. Dragon's Dogma was so good though IMO, that it over-powered my hatred for Capcom and I actually bought the game at retail rather than used. I usually don't like to support Capcom this gen, but if it gets them to produce more games like this, then I'm all for it.
Agreed. It was kind of like reading a comic book. You were really just there for the ride, and it was very entertaining so I'd say it was a job well done.
For me, HL2, and just the Source in engine in general shocked me by how near perfect the physics were while also being extremely processor friendly.
