Exactly, the PS3 is the split image of the PS2 IMO. Slow start, media attacking it with "no games", loss of profit, loss on every console sold, etc. It took a couple years for the PS2 to really get rolling, I can imagine the same for the PS3. It's only a matter of time before the majority of consumers move on to "HD".
They DO realize the Dark Knight is coming on Blu-ray this holiday, right?
To answer your question: Hell no.
The PS3 is miles ahead of the 360 version. Poor 360 can only handle 64-bit lighting whereas the PS3's RSX can render full 128-bit HDR lighting. Heh, even the colors are more vibrant, and the 360's colors are washed out. And yes, flat textures galore on the 360. This is why playing the 360 version is scarier. It burns the eyes. But on the contrary, the PS3's HDR lighting scorches teh retinas Xo

IMO Dead Space owns. The lighting is the best in any game, even better than Uncharted :O
Too bad the 360 can only produce half the lighting than what it was meant to be (PS3).
But just let the bots believe what they want, because they all know that patching RRoD isn't possible, neither is the blue and green lines and faulty A/V cables.
