Laggers can't help but lag. Other players like campers choose to play like that. Every 1/100 games I have terrible lag, probably because I live overseas. If I was playing CS, BFBC2 or MW2 I'd usually have a 3:1 KDR but when lag hits it becomes 0.5 or worse. You don't know what lag is until you experience it yourself, it's a terrible disadvantage. Actually when DMC3 came to NA and Europe, Japan's "Hard" became "Normal".
But I agree with you, most of my friends didn't like DMC3 because they couldn't even beat the 1st boss. I love the satisfaction of beating games on the hardest difficulty.
