I'm psyched they didn't use unreal engine for this. The artist can tweak things on their own engine and get epicness like this.
I can't say I feel bad for them. In the end they'll probably say something like, "PS3 destroyed us". In reality it is their marketing, pr, and overrated status in the games industry.
I think kz2 is great, but if you take away the polish (amazing polish btw) I wouldn't dig it as much. Because there is no competition between the two story wise...Resistance all the way. Even if R3 looked on par with R2 (which it will surpass knowing Insomniac) the story and gameplay will own kz.
R1 was the FIRST shooter I ever bought and played. The story, atmosphere, and gameplay were great. (Graphically it was a notch below GoW1, but it was better every other way imo.) I bought R2 and though technically/visually it was a better game, I could only go through the game once. It did miss the magic of the first. Also, split screen co-op is a MUST for R3.
As a PS3 owner I always take developers words, when it comes to their PS3 game, with a grain of salt. I only believe the words of the proven devs like Guerilla, Insomniac, Naughty Dog, and Santa Monica. I remember what happened with GhostBusters, and I think devs say things like that to get burned PS3 owners to give it a chance. I always wait and see because I won't buy a low-res/screen tearing/chugging mess.
That is the saddest thing I've heard in a while. What was a loaded gun doing near that child? This father is living in hell on earth due to his choices. Had I done that, I would die of grief or need to be institutionalized. God bless those that mourn from this tragic situation.

for the game, I don't care if I have to install. Never have. Even when I had my 60 gb, I just deleted stuff to make room for it. Installs vs. No install is not an issue for me.
need Blu-Ray. This will happen more and more. FFXIII is a good example. 360 users will need to get used to it, as developers visions for games grow.

Ed M, Farrah Fawcett, Michael Jackson, and Billy Mays! I would have never guessed it two weeks before, that all of 'em would be gone in such a small time span. Something tells me it's not over yet. I got a kick out of Billy's enthusiasm. I never thought a commercial about a cleaning agent could be so entertaining.

i'll be honest, it sucks a bit that my ps3 version of the game isn't the best. however, I just wanted to see what akroyd and ramis came up with. it's like the unofficial sequel to the movie. if I had fun with mega man 9 which has sprite based gfx, this doesn't really matter. now, if the controls made the game unplayable that would be uncalled for.
just need to sale more wiis and get the next console ready to stay ahead of the game. it's not my favorite system, but it is a winner $ I know it won't happen, but I want to see a high horsepower nintendo console. nintendo 1st party devs+horsepower=drool.

wii game. I know nintendo has the talent to make AAA titles, but they are too far apart. also, my ps3 takes up what little gaming time I have for now.

Let's put it this way... I never played racing games other than a quick lap or two, and I want to buy it. The work that went into this game is very visible, and I think I owe it to myself to check it out. This is why I got a PS3 anyways... to play games that are gonna push this beast to it's limits.
