Nah skyward sword wasn't that bad, it had great and unique dungeon design (ancient cistern, sand ship etc etc) it just tried to hard to force its weak motion controls and was just bad at some boss fights like demise monster 3 times in a row

Not necessarily, ratchet and clank remake as well as the last of us remastered both could have definitely launched at 60$ and been fine, while the demand for donkey Kong country tropical freeze remaster was definitely not high enough to justify it being more expensive than the original version.
And at better quality, look at shadow of the Colossus remake and ratchet and clank remake. Cheaper games and the remake quality is dumb good, literally built from the ground up.
Now I love Nintendo but Pokemon dx remaster and super Mario Bros u are some bullshit (especially donkey Kong TF remaster that launched at a higher price on switch than it did on Wii u like how?). And Nintendo fans try to justify it by saying "hey most people didn't own Wii U's so there ...

Last gen Rockstar put out gta4, rdr, max pain 3 and gta5 just off the top of my head.
