I'd agree but with orchestrated classic music, more intricate dungeons and enemies unique to the dungeons.
Also make more engaging enemies, so far lynel are the only enemies that give me a challenge and I'm only half way through the game. Haven't killed one of those squirming dragon thingys yet tho.
What is q? quadsexual lol
I agree with alot of the discussions here, breath of the wild is great but it's dungeon are just slightly larger shrines with boring boss fights and a unique mechanic tacked on.
The story pacing of finding memories is "meh" and the lack of epic music so far hurts me inside.
Otherwise amaking game though, love it but sadly not for the same iconic reasons as past zelda games.
Yeah both these game really give me a breath of fresh air, I've been pretty much avoiding open world games up until gravity rush 2, then I grabbed these 2 after that and I honestly gotta say juggling zelda, horizon and gravity rush have really given me faith in open world's games again.
Really dude, you obviously haven't played it, and what dumbass says no to free dlc??
You trippin bruh!!
Any idea where this game might first in the timeline, I just reached my third dungeon, rit out village and I still can't price together where this g amen is on the timeline.
Same, I just arrived at rite village, hype for the bird dungeon!!
Awesome review, still wish it had that mma making music score I'm used to in zelda games.
You guys must really love horizon, you bring it up at every turn...
C mon guys, it opinionated.....he's pretty negative.
Damn your gonna spark a fire lol
You just sound like pure salt from the way you bashed horizon just now. I'm sure it will be remembered till the end of this gen.
Why can't more than one game be great at a time, why the war? Do you realize how f*c king stupid you sound, I mean go back and actually read your post.
I own both horizon and zelda botw and the play nothing alike and are both high tiers of their genre. Ps4 fanboy sound pitifully salty which they shouldn't cuz in the...
I'm pretty sure 75% of the people hated it, I know I did. It was like an expensive pack of zebra gum rapped in a trident layers wrapper.
I hope a lynel gets her...with lightning arrows.....in the rain.
@Homushi
Sorry didn't mean to come off as If I was bashing the game, tho I sorta was.
It is an absolutely stellar entry to the zelda franchise with a level of Polish, exploratory mechanics and sense of progression and accomplishment that puts most other games to shame.
It just sorta feels like all that came at a bit of a cost of what zelda means to me I guess.
If they somehow mix this formula with a slight bit mo...
@blak
I suggest doing the Zora dungeon first,(the first dungeon on the right side of the map) it's not to difficult and the pre and post dungeon rewards are stellar for survival and exploration.
Trust me you'll kick yourself for not having done it sooner.
Ah yes I forgot about the slope mechanics, they are awesome, zelda botw really nailed exploration. I may not be impressed by its combat or dungeons but damn it exploration is next level amazing and mechanics of such are probably the greatest I've ever seen.
Now imagine that level of creative exploration and progression with Oot level dungeons and wind waker level of main character personality.
That would potentially be the best game ever....also a mid...
@toshin
Your ps4 and PC are collecting dust???
Lol what are you playing on switch other than zelda?
Ps4 has so many games releasing non stop and PC is a haven of titles so I'm just a little confused.
Zelda botw is a big game tho so maybe that's it.
Man dude your in for a treat, loved persona 4 golden and trust me if you've got an open mind (don't mind anime or heavy Japanese culture) then you'll love this game.
