I'm pretty sure I see chat all the time on siege and Destiny. I also mostly use party chat even in games like dark souls 3 gravity rush 2, horizon and persona 5 to talk it up with homies while I play.
There's always 10 to 20 chat parties going on in my friends list whenever I get on and even more possible ones to join if your part of communities.

I like the idea, kinda like how ratchet and clank a crack in time let you fly your ship manually to reach other planets while allowing you to detour to small asteroids, moons and side planers.

No we have enough shooters as it is please don't suggest that. We need more games like persona and nier. Huge stories with worlds and gameplay intertwined with great characters and originality.
That is what Japanese devs are good at. Hell we got 3 AAA first person shooters last year (4 if you count modern warfare remaster) and 2 the year before that.
