I would rather the AAA titles be released on NextGen anyhow. Why have great games being held back by old hardware. I want to play new stuff, stuff that the 360 and ps3 couldn't handle. Not a port version like they are doing with all the multiplat multigen games. You think if Watch Dogs never had to focus on current gen that the game would still look that generic?
Anyone who has to point out the flaws in the other console directly seems weak. I feel like Sony just went to a bunch of indies because they have nothing to show. I have a feeling that Santa Monica and Naughty Dog are there only trump cards they have left. They are probably keeping quiet because it will be a year or two before any of their games come out. I just hope that the PS4 isn't a ghost town for good AAA games.

OT I am happy that there are older gamers out there, hopefully the gaming market will mature and with it so will the games.
Think about the wii, they didn't need the nun chuck for the console to function, but it shipped with one and not every developer Had to use it, only when necessary.
I have a hard time believing that if people get one in their box they won't plug it in anyway and still use some of not most of the non gaming features. I can see them not buying kinect only games, however using voice snap and other features accordingly.

I believe the Microsoft is adding to the value of XBLG, if all that XBLG provided was online play, who would want to buy a $60 a year service? I mean, if they offered free games every month like Sony, then maybe they could justify everything else being outside the paywall, but what else would justify $60 a year? Definitely if you aren't a heavy online gamer.
I hope they decide to revamp the games with gold for the One and after the games have been out for 6 months or so g...

They never tried to correct anyone when they believed that a rumor was because it painted them as superior. Talk about MS taking advantage of consumers, Sony just does it more slyly and you people eat it up.

Your first reaction doesn't have to be Xbox Record, thats why they give you five minutes... It also doesn't take your fingers away from the controls to hit the share button, being able to simply speak the command keeps you in the game the entire time without losing a nanosecond.
I think that within 5 minutes one would know if the last 5 minutes was record worthy. A good question however is how long may the final record length be. I expect mor...
I have no fanboy glasses, I am asking some general questions. I WANT to buy a PS4, but I don't want to make a mistake. Someone just give me some good reasons. I want to pay less, but I also want to have the MOST enjoyment. I would gladly pay $100 dollars more if it has more capabilities for fun, but I don't want to have to pay that extra money if the $400 dollar console is going to be better.

Every company justifies their service one way or another. I think Sony saw that on the PS3 not many subscribers bought their system because they were already able to do what they wanted and that was to game for free. There were of course some subscribers but the numbers were SUPER low for PS+ subs compared to XBLG. They wanted to capitalize on PS+ so they decided to give the PS+ some worth by putting certain features behind a paywall as well, and that is pay to play online.

From my understanding it only Queue's the last 5 minutes of your game, not limits the final recording to 5 minutes. If you were to say "xbox record" I would begin recording 5 minutes from when you gave it the command. Which is all that is really needed if you think about it. How many times have you done something cool and thought longer than 30 to 40 seconds that you wish you could record that. They are trying to build the system to last, their hopes are not to have to replace consoles because they had a 1 Billion dollar loss on replacing RRoD consoles. If a power brick is the biggest thing you have to argue anymore, I'm sorry but your grasping at straws.
MS left a lot of titles announced but not shown. I think they have of course Halo, but you also have to remember Gears hasn't been shown.
Not to mention Sunset Overdrive, and Quantum Break, as well as a few projects that were teased, and Fable. MS let everyone know of their existence, but they are waiting to show the games off when the time is appropriate.
