I appreciate the calm response in a hostile environment. On one not, we could share unlimited games with 360, sure, however with digital access to our games that system is broken. Where we had unlimited before, we now have wireless connection to the game, without having to give the physical copy away to someone to possibly get lost or damaged. I personally support the idea. I only share my games with 2 people tops.
I'm also not sure about all these claims about the ...
The product is good, perhaps not for a broad of audience such as ps4... The product itself has some truly amazing features. Idk why people are so worried about the kinect, it has been confirmed to be able to stop the transmission of data and functionality for games that don't require it. Drm is still questionable as to how exactly it works. No publisher has (or will based on the negative outcry) support not allowing their games to be traded. Both consoles will have a fee, if decided by ...
Microsoft realized (perhaps to early) that digital distribution is the future. With the ability to shared unlimited games wirelessly would be suicide, however, how often does anyone share a game with more than 10 people?
This is a fantastic feature, especially because it gives people who aren't within driving range the ability to do things that you would normally have to ship. I'd certainly a feature ANY gamer would want. People are just upset because they are cling...
This is a legitimate act. However, I feel they should tell the consumer Why it's restricted. I imagine their bias wouldn't put the fact that you have a 24 got check in so that you can trade, share, and lend your games to people wirelessly. Or the fact that SOME games may NOT have a fee. If this is the case they should do the same with ps4 stating that SOME games require online, and SOME games have used restrictions as well... There is no stopping publishers from not only taking...

Ps4 still has drm restriction... Just a little bit LESS restricted than xbox with lending
Has anyone told you that your "lowest common denominator" is actually ps3 and xbox 360. I know your quick to hate, but seriously the game will run the same on both next gens, bungie won't piss on 80 percent of their fanbase
Even if some of the claims that they wish to implement might not happen, there are TREMENDOUS amounts of implementation that the cloud can bring, and they showed off quite a bit of it at E3, and its still in its infancy stages.
Both will bring some great stuff, but I agree that MS has the software and hardware that is WORTH the pricetag IMO.
The tech in the PS3 was way more than 50% more powerful that the 360 and it was a much bigger success than the ps3. Its not about hardware, and its not about money, its about the experience. You get what you pay for, and based on the games line up that proves it. Bring on the disagrees.
Not to be fan-boyish about it, perhaps I am biased, but you can tell. The games were just EH, I wouldn't mind playing them, but I don't know that I'd pay for them. You can kind of tell Sony went for just buying anything that they really could get their hands on. Then gave whatever was left to Bungie to get fan support from the other side.
I have to admit though, Sony did a MUCH MUCH better job this time marketing their PS4 than their last iteration. The PS3 in ...
@mrmagoo Why wouldn't people want to develop for xbox, it is a console they will make tons of money off of for the DRM restrictions. If anything it will attract more developers and enable higher profits for most publishers.
And to be honest after the sony reveal I really didn't see much that was really appealing, the games and the whole expo kind of bored me. Nothing got me jumping out of my seat. HOWEVER I did like some of the multiplat they showed off, that was n...
No one can say that the MS presentation wasn't well put together. The only real part that was sub-par was that pricing...man, I was really holding out for them to make a big move and take some ground back. Unfortunately the only real leg up MS has now is a few better looking game in my opinion.
I loved what they have to offer software wise, just their policies and pricing that are truly holding a great console down. I certainly hope they listen to the community on thi...
If it wasn't for that price tag shock I was happy at the reveal. The little hiccup with DICE was funny, but I was upset not to see Fallout 4, and I am no racing fan but I really liked the Forza demo. AI could be a thing in the past, if this feature could be implemented right.
I liked spark alot. But titanfall looked like it could be interesting, but I wonder if it has any sort of single player experience. I think the multiplayer looks new and interesting, but wasn't a good closer of the show
I recall Microsoft stating lack of support, link please?
You seem just as much "bought of" as Sony. People have their opinions, technically the ps4 is superior, we know that. What we have yet to see is utilizing potential. If for some reason I sacrifice minor performance for BETTER entertainment I will. I own ago current gen right now, and xbox exclusives did more for me. I really only enjoyed infamous and uc series...
Whoever produces the fun will keep my living room lit up, I will own both.
No console on the face of this earth has allowed anyone to play used games for free. There has always been a price. However, I am sure your highly intelligent mind probably got distracted by the oh-so-large number 20 and you made a mistake and meant there would be a fee.
If there is a fee, which isn't necessarily fact for EVERY game, it will be minimal at best. Not only that Sony has confirmed that it is up to the publishers as to whether or not they can add a fee to th...
Essentially your just as much sheep as the xbox fans, you blindly support a console that has at this time not confirmed the very things people hate about MS. Sure they said not always online, but for god sakes, every comment someone supports a console they like because they accept the pro's AND the cons you criticise their freedom of choice. If anything is anti-consumer it is being scrutinized for looking at the facts and still saying 'hey this console still looks to offer me a good ...
We get it, if you agree that xbox is 'anti-consumer' its not like its a revolutionary post, lets try and post comments relating to the article of exclusive games, not how much you loathe a product that is located in the X1 filter. If you don't want it stop trolling the threads related to it for people who ARE interested in talking about the games that are coming out.

Yeah, they said somewhere they spent the last couple years working on this game, and the xbox one and ps4 have been in development in less time than the consoles. So I can understand them running on current-gen, just wished the timing was a bit more convenient. All in all, I just hope that it didn't hold anything back from what Destiny is and could be.
Why is everyone saying no used games? Their is the option for publishers on both consoles to restrict used games, but the one supports used games. No publisher in their right mind would restrict the total access of a used game on any console, just disable full functionality.
