I doubt the console will last that long only because the technology gap between systems will only lapse farther with the technology gap between PC and consoles. Had they both started with better hardware, I could see a decade long console, this however is unlikely.
It is going based of tenure and gamerscore, may I ask what is your gamerscore and tenure? I have launch day tenure and 37,000 gamerscore. I would hope that would qualify me fore SOMETHING.

Haha, wow... I cannot see how people see this as a NEGATIVE! Microsoft is literally giving you an xbox one ($500 value!) for FREE... Not a game (which they also are), not some DLC (which they also are doing), but the actual friggin console. Beats the free PS+ game rentals by a mile. Only based on speculation and lack on information; there was the rumor that the PS4 version may be better in some way.
Oh NOW those are important, but when it comes to Ryse,its the resolution and framerate that matter. When you lack one thing to nitpick about there is always some other small detail to complain about.
I agree jokes, I am MUCH more excited for Forza 5, I just like to hear that there is parity on some third party titles. I actually am JUST now getting into racers so Forza 5 will be my first racer I have ever actually bought since I was a kid and bought Road Rash for the PC. Whether or not to get Forza Day 1 is my only question now.

I'm not getting a PS4 at launch, but I am really pulling for their success. Actually the PS4 has the option for games to have to install only a portion of the disc on the hard drive; however they COULD still have you mandatory install the whole thing. Up to developer, no link sorry at work. Correct me if I'm wrong.

That would be terrible, I certainly agree, however we don't know the extent of that error message. Seems to me (and this is an educated guess only) that they haven't released the day 1 patch yet, seeing as though its months away. Then of course the DRM isn't removed yet, so of course there would be issues. Do you know how many different versions of the OS are probably in the hands of different people. Until they have a final retail version of the X1, then there isn't reall...

Wouldn't you try and be careful after all the negative PR you have received to not allow some 13 year old with a blog see an error message? Of course there are going to be problems, name an OS launch for any computer system that didn't launch with some bugs; however I'm confident that it will still work as intended with perhaps some network/infrastructure issues.

Hmm... So many things to say, but none of them are nice. You know what? I hope you enjoy your console, and I am sure you will. I think personally the definition of the console is not defined by resolution or pixels, It is measured by its games. BOTH consoles have some great games, so in my book that makes them equal. One is definitely more powerful than the other, but both deliver some high quality games that play the same on both systems.
