I wouldn't go saying that FFXIII wont be good because you didn't like XII. It's a known fact that a different team made XII which is why it was so different and that the team that normally made main franchise final fantasy games is making XIII which means it will most likely mean it will be far far better then XII.

I'm a firm believer that Gunstar Heroes, Sonic 3 and Comix Zone are the 3 best games the genesis had and I have fond memories of playing them for endless hours when I was younger. I would pick these up in a heart beat but I think I may hold out for that Genesis collection coming out in feb since it will most likely have all these games anyway.

With the expectation of Mass Effect 2 those reasons suck. Even Mass Effect 2 may end up Multi Plat so that's still not a good list. Come on really this is the list? Seriously? Yay another game of the Year win for Taxi Driver IV. Come people sales are not the only thing that matters GTA IV was massively hyped and after the game was finally released alot of people agreed that it wasn't as good as it should have been.
This is stupid. They are not gonna make another format to compete with Blu-ray because consumers WOULD NOT HAVE IT. There is no way consumers would put down money for yet another new format when Blu-ray is barely a few years old and is still functioning just fine. Not to mention Sony won't be using another format for the PS4 they will most likely be using BLU-Ray again there is no reason not to.

This is a interesting one. I know MS would probably try to pay off take two for a timed exclusive deal however Take Two put the trailer on the PS3 version of the game and accepting a deal like that would be a big slap in the face to Sony so my guess would be it will be PS3/360/PC at launch. However will MS's pockets you can never be to sure.
That score is way to harsh. He makes all the problems sound WAY worse then they really are and the only real annoying thing about the game is the lack of health bars over characters and that's about it other then that the game is quite enjoyable.
Gears of War 1 had glitches yes but none of them were game breaking like most of the glitches in Gears 2. Gears to is nigh UNPLAYABLE online unless you play nothing but horde. Also lets not forget that Epic patched Gears 1 somewhat quickly after it's release to fix alot of the major problems like how far away you could stick someone. However they have not fixed ANYTHING for Gears 2 and not only that they haven't really even acknowledged that there is a problem. Gears 1 quickly became number 1...
I still think the Wii is more of a Gimmick. Sure there are a few fun games to play on it but the vast majority of games would be better and more fun to play had they used a normal control scheme that the PS3 and XBox 360 allow. It's common knowledge that the Wii is the home to 90% of the shovel ware this generation and REAL games would be lost among the flood of crap were they made for the Wii in large numbers.

I love how they say some consider the multi player broken. NO if you are playing multi player and its no horde mode IT IS BROKEN. The game has no balance and it seems Epic doesn't care at all about fixing as we have yet to hear anything and we would have heard something if they even intended to fix it.
I really wish this was being made for PS3 as the Parasite Eve series is one of my favorite series ever and I think a full blown Next gen game would have been incredible. As I've said in a few other topics the MMO's Codename is Rapture. While that may end up being the games final name I doubt it. Games are often given code names to keep them a secret until the time comes to announce them. The game has already been announced for PC Xbox 360 and PS3 and will use the Crystal Tools engine.

I do recall them mentioning that they were unsure if this would be a Final Fantasy MMO. They did state that it is NOT meant to replace Final Fantasy XI and if they gave it a Final Fantasy name alot of people would see it doing just that and FFXI would become quite barren.

The kid looks like a crazy murderer but that aside there is no excuse for this. That really did not look that good and I can't imagine how anything made from that can have Jaffe so excited. What I don't get is that if Jaffe saw something that was OMFG BEST THING EVER good then why didn't they show that? If it was that good then it would hype up the game very well. However I expect alot of people will be dissapointed at what was just shown on the VGA's which by the way are the worst awards I have ever seen.
From what i have watched so far this show is a massive fail. It seems they don't know at all what gamers care about because they keep having music performances every 5 seconds. As for the God of War III footage it wasn't even that good. Sure it looked decent and it's most likely early as hell but it really did look OMFG GOOD like Jaffe made the game out to be.
I hate playing games online because of the people you run into. It's just to the point of ridiculousness. Yeah we have a mute function that is easy to access. BUT. We should not have to mute half the players in any given match because of the way they act. There are matches that I get into where EVERYONE in the match is already muted from me having seen them in the past. Now that's just annoying.
