Whoa......... I understand your point but, please dont mention naughty dog and the uncharted series in the same breath with Gears. Gears is a great IP but, Uncharted it is not.
I just recently downloaded this game on plus and I have to say that this story is absolutely horrible and the gratuitous language and sexual innuendos are just lame and out of place. The combat is ok but overall I think that the game just isn't that good.
Get a grip EA is a video game company and they do no harm to consumers. If people hate them that much stop buying their games. As much as I love gaming,in regards to world issues it pretty low on the totem pole.
I would definitely say that the winner is well deserved. I think that it may be one of the best games that I have ever played.
@ Alphaomega EA doesn't make CoD Activision does. All games that you mentioned except for Mario Kart will not sell systems (honestly Bayonetta didnt do well when it was released on ps360 with 100x the install base). The truth is that the Wii U is soon to be passed in install base by the ps4 and xb1 although having a 1 year head start. You can be as vocal and die hard as you like but the truth is that the Wii U is not doing well at all and its only going to get harder with the next gen sys...
Coming from someone that played the game, he's right "its not that bad" but, unfortunately its also not that good either. Unfortunately for us gamers, Ryse does mediocrity very well.
I dont understand why everyone is saying the game looks great, the trailer didnt really show much of anything. I mean the graphics look good but, at this point I expect all xb1 and ps4 games to have do well in the graphics dept. Im not hating, I just honestly dont understand the premature hype. Now titanfall on the other hand looks absolutely amazing!
I think this game maybe microsofts in with the japanese audience. Mech related games always do extremely well in japan.

Please ignore Fend he's either a fanboy or grossly misinformed. PS+ is great and the playstation network can be great as long as you have friends who play online. Live is a great service as well but, I wouldnt really say that their is a tangible difference between the two.....Except for the interface which kinda sucks on PSN.
How about the Ps4 has been out for less than a week and Xb1 has yet to come out. So to compare the systems based on the games for each one is a little ridiculous. Im a playstation fan but, that statement is kind of skewed. The reason that playstation related items are monopolizing the top 20 is because A new product is about to release and people are excited. Now if this were the case when the xbone releases then you can say that this is the return of playstation dominance.
I thought it was kind of obvious that Gears would probably be coming to playstation when Phil Spencer downplayed its importance and said it needed to be rebooted. Regardless of how the last title did; Gears always sold tons on the 360, one misstep doesn't mean its stale.
This is probably going to sell well regardless because to pickings are somewhat slim. As much as I love killzone, I have more than enough ps3 games to hold me over until InFamous.

This has nothing to do with hate. The fact is that anything can be done with a CGI trailer. Insomniacs last game was pretty lame too (im looking at you overstrike/fuse) and the CGI for that looked pretty cool when they started development. My point is that they showed a guy running...... no gameplay, no multiplayer (im not sure that they even mentioned multiplayer), and no engine. They stated that the trailer was all CGI. Their were no in game assets involved with what was shown.
Can't say im too excited insomniacs recent track record has been rocky in recent years. As for the cgi from e3 that means absolutely nothing. Have we all forgotten abt the cgi trailer for overstrike/fuse .......... yeah that was completely different from the end product.
