I was worried about this as I'm getting an LG 65" OLED in November for when the X1X comes out. When I got the last console update I was happy to see the screen dims very dark, almost to totally black. I'll still try my best to turn it off whenever I leave the room, but this is a good backup plan in case I forget.

Oh cool. I hadn't seen that. Seagate has an 8TB External for $179 though so I'll probably just get that one.

I was looking at getting this, but then I realized there are cheaper, just as good 8TB external HDD options and it only comes in white. I have an OG X1 and will be upgrading to X1X so it will need to be black.
How would a prequel make sense? Didn't she not realize she had her powers until Life is Strange began? A prequel would just be playing as a normal middle school girl.

Misleading title. Dead Island 2 isn't cancelled. Yager was originally developing it, but they were removed from the project (and as a result went out of business). Now it's being developed by Sumo Digital.

There's no way that any sane and unbiased person could think that any other console maker has a holiday lineup anywhere near as good an Microsoft's. It's not a fanboy thing to say...it's just logical.
All the mission DLC will be 100% free so I don't mind at all that it's releasing with 7 missions and adding more as it goes. It means I get to play Hitman sooner than if they had waited to be completely done before release.
Love Quantic Dream games so much. I would probably buy this if it came with Fahrenheit and Omikron: The Nomad Soul.
I've been very impressed looking at comparison videos by how much they did to overhaul the game visually. They truly did recreate every asset and texture. It's a much bigger step up graphically than I expected.
During the Twitch stream a few days ago, the devs made a point to say that the PC version of Mad Max is being done 100% in house, no outsourcing whatsoever. It's not a guarantee of quality, but it certainly means it should be a lot better off than the Arkham Knight port.
Mad Max looks like it will be severely underrated. I'll definitely be picking it up. I watched an hour long Twitch stream with the devs and it seems like a very cool mix of open world adventure, Arkham-style combat, and car combat.
I've had this game pre-ordered since June of '13 and it looks incredibly awesome. That being said, both the old and new covers are just a white guy with a gun; aka the unarguable biggest cliche' in all of gaming box art. Wasted opportunity for something cool.
I would imagine that Sony has to make deals with the developers of all these games in advance to be the free PS+ game in the event that they win the vote. So I'm almost positive all of the games in the polls will eventually become free games down the road even if they don't win.
I generally play RB and GH, but Social D are punk rock gods so Rocksmith players should be excited.
Yup. I got the 2 pack of controller extenders and I was good to go. Plus they also work with my NES classic.
