If it means no resources are taken away from the single player campaign, it's more than worth it to me personally. TLoU was easily a top 3 best single-player campaign I've ever played. Much more focused on that being the best it can be than it having MP.

That would be awesome if true. I really enjoyed Mafia III. It got well deserved flak for the repetitive nature of the mission structures, but I loved the story, characters, and gunplay.

Not sure Mafia II needs a remaster though. It was a good game, but the open world existed for no other reason than to give the story a sense of place, and the ending was awful.

Speak for yourself lol. I want all the info on this game I can get. TLoU is definitely in my top 5 games of all-time.

I've played TLoU more than almost any other game I own, and I don't see Joel as a villain at all. To me it was pretty obvious that everything surrounding the research they had planned around Ellie was a stretch at best. I would have done the same thing Joel did. The decision isn't 'Ellie or Humanity' it's 'Ellie or a minuscule chance at finding some info that could maybe someday give them a clue at finding a cure'.

I can't even get past level 60 unless I spent money so this is irrelevant to me. But I will say the multi-player is very addicting.

"Trump is 'ill-informed'"
That's really all you need to know. Regardless of the article's subject matter, this will always be the case.

I'm all for not wanting conservatives at your event, I wouldn't want them at mine either. But if you're PAX, you obviously knew about these views before hand. Once you have an agreement, you should stick to it. And if you ARE going to cancel someone's event, at least have the balls to tell them the reason.

lol on what planet would a retailer purposely steer customer away from older stock? There's maybe a chance they would make the current Switch very slightly cheaper as a point of differentiation once the new Switch model releases. But more than likely it will be up to the consumer to check the model number, which is completely acceptable.

It's not a full open world game so I don't think it can match those games at all in terms of scope. But it at least has a chance if it can delivery on player agency and story.

This is the way it should have been from the beginning. No reason not to do this. Especially if those closed accounts now go back into the Gamertag "pool". I've been on XBL since like 2003, but I can't imagine how hard it must be to pick a Gamertag with no numbers in it now.

Completely agree with them. Anyone who would not buy a game b/c they put it on Epic Store instead of Steam is lacking the common sense needed to see that if you're a developer, and you have one option where they take a 30% cut, and another option where they take a 12% cut, you'd be insane not to go with the one that lets you keep more of your revenue.

He was literally asked to make a wild prediction. Seems like he just gave a fitting answer to the question. I love watching Pachter Factor on Siftd Games' Youtube Channel. He may not make the best predictions, but he knows a ton about the industry.

This is definitely not awkward. I'm not one of those people that dismisses stuff like this with "it doesn't matter" or "who cares?", but since there's really no answer they could've given that would've been wrong, this seems like a total non-issue.

Far Cry 5 comes to mind immediately, but at least it was softened a little bit by the Far Cry: New Dawn ending.

Well...that was an "article" telling people to press X/Square to fast travel.

I love all the SR games, but even though it seems like everyone wants a new SR that's more like SR2 and 3, I personally want them to keep going with the completely absurd over the top nonsensical style. Would I be upset if they didn't? No, because at the end of the days I just want more Saints' Row. But I'd definitely prefer to be this super OP beast with crazy powers.

That's a pretty great trailer. The part where they went back to the ending of the original RAGE was really funny. I've had this pre-ordered forever. Can't wait.

Since it's not hurting anyone by including it, I tend to agree with the article. More options is rarely a bad thing, especially in a single player game. It's 100% the devs decision and I don't mind if they see it another way, but for me personally, adding an Easy mode wouldn't hurt anyone playing on other difficulty levels and would probably net you a few more sales.

Same day as Shenmue III. Might have to take a "sick" day haha.

I've been waiting what feels like forever to see more of Afterparty. It seems like exactly my kind of game and it's by the devs who made the fantastic Oxenfree.
