I always owned consoles, got first PC in 2000 never looked back, still own consoles but PC always my main gaming platform, plus games are so much more cheaper than they are on consoles.
I only bought this on the PC few days ago, Glad MGS games are being published on PC now, played every single one since the PS1 and now don't have to get my PS4 back off my brother to play MGS.
I have to disagree BF2 was the best in the series followed by BC and BC2.
Actually come to think of it BF:2142 was an amazing game, shame it flopped as no was interested in a Sci-fi BF at the time it was made. Titan mode was the best game mode I ever played.
Yeh I found same in beta the hunters where every were I played alpha and relied on stealth a lot, yet on the beta after the first time I was spotted there was no way to escape them, I also noticed when you actually down a hunter to bleed out, they take far more damage then when their not bleeding out. The medic could heal the downed hunter faster than you could finish them off. I enjoyed playing it few games at a time in alpha but the beta killed it, hunters have gone easy mode when I played...
@JsonHenry, I run at 4k with Nvidia's DSR, but got an old i7 2600k and a PCI-E 2.0 MB and 4gb 770, I did lag when I first tried it but I turned on Shader Cache in the Nvidia control panel that stopped the lag completely, only thing I turned down was viewing distance that's at 50%. Also turned off film grain because it makes the game look crap, don't know why they add that visual effect I personally hate it
The game looks like crap any way film grain ruins the visuals, lucky I turned it off (PC) and now game look amazing no stupid fuzz on screen constantly also running at 4k but with DSR surprised with my old 2600k i7 and PCI-E 2 Motherboard I could.

To be fair I was surprised how well this game ran, I did have a slight FPS dip issue but that was caused by 1 Nvidia driver settings, Shader cache, turned it on and bam game ran smooth as silk.
I personally never bother with reviews, In this day and age it's very easy make your own opinion of games just by being on the internet. Only reviews I take some notice of are steam user review's and even then I can tell if I'm going to enjoy a game or not just by gameplay videos.
Going back to late 80's basically every game on the Sinclair Spectrum, No save's very few extra lives, die 3 times game over start from first level. I download an emulator and Spectrum ROM's about a year ago, I couldn't even complete the first level on He-man.
