They can use it anyway they like, the problem is how little supply there is and farms being filled with 100's of the things. Cryptominers are not buying one card they buying tons of them. I mean should a company be able to buy out all the the supply of SSD's and RAM? So no consumer can get their hands on one? what happens when buying them all effect actual other business that need SSD's and RAM. Volume is the issue, not intended use
Plenty of reasons, heat is the enemy of any hardware, PC or console, this eliminates more heat and allows for less dust to be trapped inside the system as most of it is covered by a water block. 1 thing i learnt in my many years of gaming consoles don't like being used a lot everyday and degrade far quick than PC hardware does if anything this would only decrease failure rates, same reason they now use liquid metal and not normal thermal paste.

@Stanjara 8mil pre orders 51% was pc alone 49% on every other platform, cdpr stated this a week or so ago, i run it on a 2060+9700k at 75fps 1440p patch 1.04 caused me a ton of crashes but it worked fine after a reinstall. Had like 5 bugs which have been fixed. I still get bugs on skyrim to this day quest breaking ones.

apart from needing to reinstall the entire game after patch 1.04 which caused me to crash every 30 seconds, the game has been mostly fine, had bugs but more just random stuff nothing that affects progression. enjoyed it a lot and on my 2nd play through looking forward to some DLC and more refinement of the game.
I loving the game but on PC the crashes are so fucked, i played the first 3 hours had 5 crashes then it started working, i been doing a mission for Delamain taxis and I have crashed on the 6/7th taxi for the last 3 hours over 30 times, its been a joke. i have Skyrim with 300 mods more stable than this!
Agreed, all you get now is Quake champions, I don't mind it but classes are a joke. Still feels great to strafe jump again tho

Well DJstotty is technically correct as you can only download games on the playstation not on a PC, so no its not like gamepass as games can be downloaded on PC and Xbox not just streamed on a PC
Good luck playing any competitive game at 4k with low fps. Some of us play more than the 2-3 single player games from sony every year
@Foxtrot ME:A was flawed but it had fixed issues with DA:I, This is what gets me the most, DA:I is a badly badly designed game, poor characters, poor level progression poor and clunky combat, the only saving grace was it's decent voice actors, it was a chore to play and felt like every MMO that came before only there is no end game when you get max level it.

Suspend and resume? yeh its called alt tab, suspending a game to play another is its only benefit, but SSDs are so quick anyway its negligible. Look you can finally go back to desktop on a console and not have to reload your game, revolutionary.
@Rainslacker how do you need to buy a 1-2k card? the 3090 isn't the new high card the 3090 is basically the titan the main cards are the 3080 and the 3070, the 3090 has more power because it made for people who actually do 4k video editing etc the 3090 is not a pure gaming card.
