The united states do have a poor education system for the general public, and they do have a problem with racism and bigotry. These are facts. So I find it absolutely hilarious that you try abusing the racism card just because you don't like those facts or think they don't apply to you. Now that's closed minded, closing off the big picture because it doesn't have enough of you in it.
Criticism of American culture and administration is not a taboo, and never wi...
@torchic
They aren't. The operating system is designed for morons, and have none of the more advanced settings, leaving you going back and forth forever to fix a minor problem, eventually finding out that the system refresh rate can only be changed under midi settings, which is found in an obscure part of the options menu, which has the absolute worst layout you can imagine.
All in all, trying to work with sound on a mac proves to be more trying to get things to w...
Yes! YES! *YES!*
I want it now.
fantastic! maybe indie game developers will start making proper games now?
I'm a fan of many indie games, but if you look at the steam store nowadays, 90% of the recommended titles are experimental indie titles that overcharge, over a dozen different minecraft clones, terraria clones etc. And some even have the audacity to utilize in-game microtransactions.
It really clogs up the store page, and people are going to buy these games hoping that they are what they advertise, ...
Stupid people don't realize that the graphics are great, it's just the character models that are poorly done. The dog looks like it had too much hair gel, and the main character has a pointy butt.
I do think the textures are a bit too pastel smoothy, but that isn't "bad graphics", it's a style direction. It worked great for everything but the main character's suit.
in this comment section: lots of guys attempting to argue that AAA games are of "better quality that will always be worth any sum of money".
The real variable here is neither price or development cost, it's marketing. Big expensive games are hyped up to the point where people stay hyped long after they realize that the game is average, and upon that realization enter defensive mode trying to justify their purchase and earlier devotion to the game by targeting wh...
shitty clickbait article with news from early march. Please remove.
It's a standard open world steampunk sci fi about the societies built by the survivors of nuclear war.
I totally agree. I never understood how it was so popular with my friends. They say the world is so unique, ignoring how the postapocalyptic wasteland has been a cliché since early in the cold war. They say the gameplay is great, despite the game being responsible for bethesdas reputation for releasing bugged out games before they are done, and playing like the sims with automatic combat. They say the story is great, but it seems like a poor one-off plot from a cheap sci fi tv series. Or...
NEED. TO TRICK. TIMERS!!!
@Jackvagina
What the hell are you talking about? Are you literally too dumb to understand that a product can seem good but turn out not to be? Or that developers will abuse a lack of refundability to sell unfinished junk for unrealistic prices?
Are these concepts beyond you?
What 5-7 year old game won't work on today's hardware? I've played games from the 90's just fine. The problem is when old games are lazily ported and whoever does it forgets to add the sound library or something.
A game under 2 hours long is barely a game, and the absurd shortness should be the reason to refund it in the first place.
What about games without progressing stories? Should they not have refunds enabled at all because you've experienced what they have to offer after a few rounds?
I think this isn't to make customers happy about refunds, it's about incentivising devs to make games worth the money they charge. If a game under 2 hours long costs enough t...
It doesn't really require a lot of resources to make a generic 3d platformer. I reckon there are plenty fantastic old platformers out there that aren't cheap rippoffs abusing the popularity of other IP to make people buy a product they haven't even gotten to alpha on yet.
I totally bought into mighty number 9 hype though.
I agree. Some look hot, but most of them are either creepy or lifeless. A hot body isn't much without a hot attitude
Tf2. Premium accounts have no gameplay-related advantage to free accounts. All weapons can drop to any player as long as they play the game for long enough, and the most significantly different weapons are provided when you accomplish achievements for that class.
If you pay up, you get perks that are more like goodies. A thanks for supporting them(think of it as donating and getting hats as thanks).
EDIT: Apparently I'm too dumb to understand the term mmo. ...
I love how suddenly everyone is really hyped about drm-free games when it has never really been an issue in the first place. And everyone who isn't hyped is placed in some pseudo pedagogical box using ancient greek philosophy or something as basis. Steam does everything it's supposed to, and I don't think anyone would boycot it to go join some new unproven service. Look at google+, even though it's superior to facebook in every way, it never replaced it. It's a niche servi...
This is the most pathetic excuse for "news" I have ever seen. Stop trying to push that shit in everyone's faces, this is not an mlp-related page.
looks like world of warcraft did in 2010. It's got higher detail and some nice animations, but I'm not really impressed. Why is everyone hyped up about this game again? I don't recall people showing a lot of appreciation for the first two.
That rifle is going NUTS!
And the graphics look great, but not 100% realistic. The colors are a bit cartoony, and the textures a bit shiny. I'm not gonna complain though. Not even going to play the game, but it does look impressive.
