Single player all the way for me anyway - I'd be buying DEAD SPACE 2 whether it had MP or not as I've never seen the appeal of online gaming as standard and I play BURNOUT all the time, but SP only.
Sucks for those who love that sort of thing though.
I don't think that article would be used as a stick to beat some console owners over the head with though, would it?
That '1' single point must make up so much for the frustration you feel about the PS3 having better exclusives.
I'll be tempted, but I'd sooner wait and support the Western release.
Until broadband improves considerably, I don't see Onlive offering even remotely 'next-gen' (or even 'this gen') gaming.
Also, I like to own the 'physical media' when possible, but even with downloaded games I know it's there on my hard drive. Having to access a game remotely just seems a bit dodgy to me, on many levels.
Quite a few people here say it actually, some even basing their user names on the notion.
I don't think ANYONE with any sense says PS3 exclusives "don't sell". The mere fact that, three years on from launch, we're still getting them proves that developers are very happy with how their games perform on the console.
Of course, "facts" mean little to certain parties here who are so full of bile and hate that they refuse to even see basic common sense. You only have to look at the disagrees in the 'Gamer Zone' - It's the N4G equivalent of "la ...
It's worth importing to get the deluxe edition with book and cd. Even in the event of a Euro/UK release, I doubt we'd get that version.
I think the majority know that this game would never get a release here and have imported DEMON's souls (as have I). If it did suddenly get an official release it probably wouldn't do too well because most of those of who want it have already got it.
So you're admitting that the 360 is a one-trick pony? About time!
I don't need 'excuses' to feel good about my PS3 thanks. Unlike the 360 I had, my Sony console hasn't let me down performance wise or physically damaged any discs yet, ergo 'feeling good' about it comes naturally.
When PS3 exclusives vanish from the shelves, then I'll start 'worrying' (for want of a better word) about sales. As these games are still being released, with many more planned for the future, then clearly sales are doing just fine regardless of your bleating to the contrary.
And please learn to 'reply' to your own posts!
Do you actually believe the tired old cliché that game sales always equates to quality, or are you just being pig-headed to sound clever?
If it's the former then you seem to be playing games for all the wrong reasons and should take that dead horse down to the glue factory.
If it's the latter, then it isn't working and is having the opposite effect, making you seem rather foolish.
£300 worth of games in the first three months of the year is more than enough for me thanks. Just because you have more money than sense, doesn't mean everyone else has.
I've gone from 'maybe' to 'definate buy' regarding HEAVY RAIN. However it turns out, I think it'll be a unique, rewarding experience worthy of my support.
Yeah, don't know what you mean.
If you really didn't like Prologue then odds are good you won't like the final release.
Maybe the amount of rain affects the killer's mood? More rain, more depression, more murders?
Yes, THAT is GT5.
Hello Newbie!
As you can see folks, the "hate"" has already begun (began some time ago in fact).
Goodbye Newbie!
"No cuts"? Great! Guess that means the game is 'mature' in all the right ways, with little of the 'blood & gore' childishness which people usually mistake for 'grown up'.
