Nah, I suspect he just employed 'common sense', and it told him that a well-constructed driving sim will be of far more value and lasting appeal than a new games controller (which, despite all the fawning hype, is ALL Kinect is)

For a launch title, I consider RFOM to be a damn fine looking game. Even R2 had great visuals, just rather generic compared to the first outing
Regenerating health made sense in the other games as Sergeant Hale was infected with the alien DNA. Presuming that the playable charaters of R3 will be all human, I think the health pack route is the way to go.
Really look forward to the return of vehicles too - The tank sections of RFOM were a hoot (albeit too short)
