Secret Wars was awesome and got me into comics all those years ago - I had all the figures too (remember the "Doom Roller"?)
A game should be interesting!
Can't science fiction be 'deep'?
Do you actually care?
Oh please be quiet - I LOVED Killzone, I was AMAZED by Killzone 2 and expect no less from the third instalment. It isn't hype for me, it's genuine anticipation and excitement.
Let me have my fun before the haters wade in to spread their unsubstantiated vitriol...
Not if he finds himself enjoying it.
You want literal "realistic" crashes at 100 mph in a game then the driver has to 'die' - You want that?
But then you're a troll, so I guess anything for a giggle, eh?
Very impressed with the demo - The visuals are sharper, the animation seems more fluid and the ability to 'free-float' makes for a far more interesting experience.
I too had a bit of trouble with the 'hack' sequence and lost a lot of health doing it, but come the actual game I'l be able to handle it better thanks to the experience.
The immaturity of your username renders your opinions invalid.
After playing KZ2 you wonder "blimey, how will they top that?", then by gum Guerilla Games go and do exactly that. Startling!
As with all these "let's do a worthless poll and get no-mark celebrities to give us their unwanted opinion on them" programmes, people always vote for what's recent and fresh in their minds, like picking AVATAR as one of the "greatest sci-fi movies" for example (yeah, right!).
Very rarely are they any true indicator of merit.
Besides, ACTION MAN kicks the arse of any games machine, ever!
@Dirty 1.1.3
Why CAN'T he mention Move-capable titles? Seeing as how the whole point of Move is that it can be integrated into almost ANY type of game (unlike, at this juncture, KInect), you want to conveniently cross such games off the list to level the playing field?
I preordered as soon as the game was announced, so I don't really care about reviews.
With a comment like that, it's obvious you DO need it.
I've commented - I'm buying - You're wrong. Life is sweet!
@Karl 1.6.3: I sort of get what you're saying, but I have to add that even though I'm NOT a fan of 'sraight' racers, GT5 has me hooked completely. The desire to level up just 'one more time' is utterly addictive and the so-called "poor" user interface proved no problem for me - I'd bought my first car and was racing within minutes of installing.
And Fox, with all the assists on (no shame in that), driving is a doddle.
I really can't tell if this is sarcasm or not, but I'll click 'disagree', just in case.
Nathan Drake has the most engaging personality of just about any game charater in recent years.
I only played the first game, way back on my Sega Saturn - Never a big fan to be honest, and the UNCHARTED series has pretty much provided my fill of 'maverick explorer' gaming.
But, if the price is right I may have a dabble for old times' sake...
They also wait to slap "disagree" for no reason other than a deluded sense of empowerment judging by the comments here, it seems.
But seriously, I'd be more than happy with one great game every other month to keep me going through the year, but TWENTY?
Got to judge them all individually - Some games I 'loved' back in the day like CRAZY TAXI, but I now find it an unplayable bore. Then we have the SLY COOPER collection which I can't put down.
The whole "best version on PS3" proving to be yet more PR bull has soured MASS EFFECT 2 for me - LBP2 and DEAD SPACE 2 have eclipsed it easily and are all I'll be getting in January (Indeed, they're ALL I need!). ME2 can wait for the bargain bin.
After that, I'm clearing my schedule for KILLZONE 3!
