I can't believe it's not System Shock. I like that they're bringing old stuff back, but ripping off System Shock down to the T, calling it Prey when it isn't Prey, and then pretending it's an original work? These Arkane guys are shady in the worst ways. It's amazing how many people aren't talking about the similarities between this and System Shock.
Now to remove the world's worst reputation system. I enjoy my Xbox, but my dealings with the abusive rep system is pushing me out.
I've always enjoyed the gameplay from them, despite its flaws no matter how obvious. It beats out the rehashed crap you see today by miles.
Pro tip for anyone that has the Xbox version of the game. Just abuse the report system. Eventually you'll out good players like myself in bad rep so we can't matchmake. Hurray for the world's worst community!
Probably because of two things.
A. It'll be 5 years until they're done milking it and all the content is out.
B. 5 years time is when we'll actually buy it so we dont need to go back for our 69.99$ expansions every year.

A glance at Google images would tell you these guys don't max out consoles. Their opinion on hardware is rather pointless. When are people going to get it that very few AAA devs actually max consoles out and make things efficient.
Checkpoints are a flawed system in itself. Saving where ever you want is what games should have. Modern gaming is full of all kinds of stupid things that old school stuff didn't. The lack of depth in modern games is shocking with how much RAM is available.
I just don't get the 2 hours. I'd be more comfortable with 5. I can't get a feel for a game in 2 hours. Takes a bit. Game breaking bugs might not start until later in the game too.

Enemies missing critical points. Painfully boring as it's the same thing through each difficulty. The achievements are a joke. Insanely overpriced skins to coerce people into paying for boxes. Didn't add back the other pve. Good job Blizzard, messed up an easy thing.

Games have grown up have they? Interesting. Missed the memo. This industry hasn't grown into anything but debt and crippling stagnation due to copy paste games. If you want the "culture" to grow up you should ask the industry to stop treating customers like children that don't know any better.
I'm not sure I'm down with it either. But the snapping of the bar itself seems to be much faster
No. Launch day was the point at which the game was supposed to be good. Nothing they can do to fix what's broken.
Should be a lot more everything. Hit detection sucks. RPG was so shallow each class was utterly replaceable. Boring combat.

Games as a whole take some things. This is literally copying everything and modernizing it. It's painfully unoriginal regardless of how good it looks. And it does look decent. The issue is that it isn't original. At all.
