It is. KB&M on console can only do what a controller can. Doesn't work like it does on PC. Not even close.
Microsoft and Sony both allow the peripherals. Blizzard has and should never have a say in how we play the game. They have no business telling me how to play, they make the game TO play. That's it.
Oh get this crap out of here. It isn't news. Jeff is just trying to be an authoritarian little pecker. It's not enough that the game has a dozen issues plaguing competitive, now he needs to tell us HOW to play the game? Get out. This guy wouldn't know half decent game design if it slapped him in the face. Is he even aware that KB&M has it's own drawbacks on console? Nevermind the FACT that it can only perform what a controller can. Throw in the fact that as far as an FPS g...
May as well start banning people for using pro headsets, monitors, pro controllers with paddles. They're all "advantages". Blizzard didn't investigate crap, mouse and keyboard on console is still limited to what the game and controller will allow. Learning it is a skill in itself. I have advantages and disadvantages of using it. One being I don't really melee or crouch anymore. Can't use the comm system either.
It doesn't violate TOS to use a XIM4 on Xbox or Playstation. On Playstation it's irrelevant as they ALREADY have a product for people who'd like to use mouse and keyboard.
Dear Blizzard. Your game has a dozen issues that keep it from being competitive or balanced (from a long time competitive gamer who's always excelled at the games he plays competitively). Keyboard and mouse isn't cheating, neither company is against it, one has a product for it, the ot...
Seeing as how software as a whole is selling worse but the console is outperforming the 360 in hardware sales, it's not exactly something that's going to change. The Xbox One as a console is selling fine. The software across the board isn't. More software, while nice and we do want it, won't fix dwindling sales.
Your worrying trend BS is just that. BS. Microsoft has been doing it for a long time and we've yet to see it not work.
Basically ARK, which is already poorly functioning. If tits is how they want to sell it, good luck.
This is wrong and right at the same time. The fad has certainly worn thin, but for the wrong reason. Games aren't made "hard" anymore. They just have horrible game design that hinders the player. Hard difficulties should allow players to use game mechanics to or level design to their advantage. It's the only tools they have. Instead we slap another million HP on the boss, make him kill you in one hit, and have horrible checkpoint systems instead of saves and you have yoursel...
As bad as the store is, the employees get it worse. Shifts and hours are the first thing to go if you don't listen to the corporate overlords
Gotta blow Sony somehow, even if the article really isn't all that related. In fact, it's not. It's about programs running at EB/Gamestop that are actively punishing employees by giving them worse shifts and less hours. In my case forcing employees to use personal vehicles to do bank runs regardless of the legality of it. Sony has nothing to do with this conversation and neither does Xbox. Don't bring them up.
This program isn't new. It's the same thing they did for years before I started working there and they still do it long after I've quit. Quit shopping there, folks. Let them die.
Something you clearly aren't. 1 player can't replace another. If you're fighting 6v5 fights all the time? You're bound to lose UNLESS the other team has the same issue with smurfs. But because of the matchmaking system favoring one team over the other to push win and loss streaks, you're generally fighting that 5v6.
Why do I even bother, I probably just wasted my time explaining this to a silver, someone who doesn't even see smurfs.
Moron. You can just make new accounts on console. For free.
No. It was a bad game. It did nothing it's genre asks of it, mechanically it was the most buggy, the plot was uninteresting. Bad game. The difference is that I have standards, your thoughts are irrelevant to anyone with a brain.
I hate to be that guy, but the online pass has a use right here. Each account should have to pay a fee to play. Simple as that. This solves the problem instantly.
Games with functional matchmaking systems.
False. Complete and utter horse shit.
On Xbox you can just make accounts so long as you have an email. Gold is shared. Game can be played on all of them. They don't care how bad their rank suffers. Throwing matches is the #1 cause of my losses in competitive, on all platforms. And that's because smurf accounts don't care. Their main is fine, so they do as they please.
Pro leagues. The joke of online gaming. These guys can do whatever hey want, "E-Sports" had this pathetic and sad reputation for controlling the players down to strict diet. This fad really needs to die.
Not to mention the convenience of switching game to game without budging. Digital helps me avoid retailers like EB. Where I live in Canada all I have is a Walmart now and I don't like them either. So I go digital. Directly support the development team.
I HAVE ONE, YOU IDIOT!
It can only do what the analog and in game settings allow it to do. The mouse movement is replacing the analog movement. Comparing it to anything that gives you an "edge" is perfectly logical. People bitched for years about "modded" controllers. Now look, scuff type products are the norm. When he's talking about the "feel" he's wondering how responsive it is. Other products have horrid input lag. This particular product has...
