At a good price I might just check this out. As they said, something different to the generic shooters we have already.

Yes. I enjoy a campaign mode to most games, if not all. Sure B4 will be all about the MP but I enjoy a good shoot out offline, before the main event of MP.

I was under the impression that the ps4 version will run at 720p @ 60FPS.
I've read up abit on this epic game franchise.
I could be wrong though.
Reguardless, i'll be picking it up day one.

Well done 2K, well done. I'm really looking foreword to getting my copy of the game today and seeing all of this for myself. It looks fantastic and I can't wait till I get home tonight.
If you didn't like the 1st 2 games why did you even bother with this one? Of course your going to be comparing the games.
As a stand alone game surely this ranks above a 8/10 game.
I haven't played it yet, but judging by opinions if others, who rate games daily for a profession, it seems like your the one who is not rating it properly.
Just my opinion though.

I haven't finished it yet and am looking forward to playing again with the outposts controlled again with the hardest difficulty setting on.

I'm hoping not. I'm loving the PS brand, don't get me wrong but the economy is just not strong enough for sales. I dunno about you but I don't have a spare $1000 (ps3 release price here in AUS). Things are a lot tougher now. It hasn't even been the 10 years that Sony said the ps3 would last for.

Just a 5 hr campaign? Hmmm. I'm more of a campaign player myself though I do enjoy the MY beta. I may pick it up I suppose. Well done with the 9/10 anyway. A shame aliens colonial marines didn't score that high also. Agh well, can't all be great I suppose.
Sounds a little harsh to me however I have'nt played the demo yet. You've made this game sound worse than Turning Point - Fall Of Liberty. lol.

The only gripe I have is to put the system back the way it was as the loading times in game are apauling. At leased before the update you did'nt have to load the trophy's, they were there too look at ingame straight away.
Having said that though, I have'nt read this article yet.
Personally, I think the PS3 has a good few years ahead if it still. Developers are now, seriously
tapping into its full potential. Far Cry 3, Beyond, The Last Of Us, possibly Watch Dogs too.

To be honest, this game looks ok, i'll probably give it a go BUT i recon PS3 owners shoulod get ba FREE DLC copy of the first game. We missed out, i'm presuming there would be some kind of story that would be helpfull mto carry on through to this new release.

As naughty Dog said after U2, we've maxed out the PS3, then found more potential to release U3 and again with The Last Of Us. It comes down to smart programming I recon.
I'm sure, if they ever release Crysis 4 that (theoretically), it could run on a PS3 if programmed right.

I recon QUICK SAVING is like cheating. Advancing 2 mins into a game then save, save, save. If your good enough, you'll make it to the next save point without needing it. Silly.

SOLIDSYSTEM, I understand where your coming from. If the actual player is in control, what difference does it make if the protagonist is a dunce? (stupid) or a war hero???

I've gotta say, the last game became too tedious for me playing for just over 60 hrs but getting no more than 12% of the story done. The saving system needs to be re-structured in my opinion as it can take 10 or so minutes to get to the beginning of a new mission, longer if you crash a car, get arrested get into street fights etc, don't get me wrong, this all adds to the experience but you should be able to hard save at the very beginning of a new mission too not just from your appart...
IMO, i'll wait to see some gameplay footage before getting excited about this game. There seems no point in getting excited over a videon that is not what we are going to get ingame. Bring on the gameplay vid's 1st. A talented developer without question but, I'll hold my breath untill I see what I want to see...... Gameplay.
