I forgot about this game. I'm quite looking forward to digging into a ww2 game again. I know we got flooded some time back with ww2 games but this is a welcome change with all of the current games.
I respect everyone's opinion but can't agree with you here. The map sizes with this instalment are great. The last few games from memory allowed for 64 v 64 games where the larger maps had to be in place otherwise the gameplay would be too crowded and end up a cluster f.
They've dropped the player count to 32 v 32 with this which is my preference anyway.
That said, after the 150hrs I've put into the MP, I still think they are missing the mark slightly.

I really enjoyed Control though without the mini map i found myself lost and or unsure of what to do too often and gave in on the game about 30% in.
Ive just re-downloaded it with the latest update with the enhanced graphics but unaure I'll dig back into it agaith with my current backlog.
Looking forward to seeing whats next from Remedy though.
Although this is quite clearly GOTY material 🤪, i do hope by games end you learn to save the bugs & learn about them than just killing every bug in sight.

I had a brief squizz at the menu's only last night. Am I wright by saying there's no solo option for the BR mode? I think i can only see Duos & squad options.
I didn't hang around though and hit the main battlefield MP afterwards.
Loving the game but the bots are killing it for me. Most evenings here in Australia at say 10pm to 1am ish there are at max 6 human players and the rest are bots. EVERY game and mode. I've pointed this out to friends before but admittedly they are on earlier than myself. As a new game, this shouldn't be happening. I mean this by as being a new game it should be filled with real players. Could understand in a few years time but this is rediculas. Somethings not right I think.

Hope you don't mean by having to have Playstation Plus as you'd need that to play online in the first place (on Sony's platform).
There's no additional payment needed, just squad up with friends on the same platform to gain extra XP.

That's a really cool feature really. I always find reviews from other gamers, verbally or written more honest than a lot of the mainstream reviewers these days.
At a guess, you'd need a ps5 copy then have to download a paid VR version from the store. I wouldn't think it'd be free nor a physical version would be available. Again, thats just a guess.
Enemy visibility to be improved... yes please. I struggled quite a few times to see who was shooting/killing me in the beta. Not talking turn everyone into chicken suits but it was definitely difficult to see at times.

Please lower the TTK speed, even if it's just a little. I'm really liking what I'm seeing here but the original battlefield emphasis was on teamwork and giving the player time to do that.
To be honest, I'm not as quick as i used to be but the game does feel more sped up to me at present.
Looking forward to the campaign actually, it looks good.

I'm personally all for new improvements, changes, engines etc etc. If its done correctly, it can change gaming dramatically and for the better.

A definite day one for me. I really liked & enjoyed the first game.
