I think Cyberpunk is close in gameplay. Sure it's a futuristic setting but I find alot of similarities with the two games.
For me the leap between PS2 & PS3 was the largest leap in evolution. I've always been a playstation user and never really had consoles before the playstation era (PS one). Although I used to play the Master System back in the day that jump from PS2 >PS3 really stands out for me.
An impressive game. I've only just started the main campaign on ps5, not Phantom Liberty, and gotta say there's alot going on here. Sure, had a really rough launch but now, if you haven't already, is the time to jump in on this game.
The gunplay is satisfying, the story is in-depth, the graphics are top notch and by all accounts a really good game so far (14% in on main campaign).

To add to you're point, this is what I don't understand about the MS subscription service. If you're getting all the day one released games for next to nothing by using thier service how on earth are the developers supposed to make enough money back to create their next game/s?
Myself, and I might be of the few, but I prefer to purchase a game from a store or digital store at the recommended price, or wait for a discount if not completely sold on what I've seen of...
Sorry but I find you're comment delusional. Are you not keeping up with what gamers, players & users are wanting these days? If it were to be what Microsoft are offering, why such drastic differences in sales and demand for all other platforms other than the Microsoft console.
I get it, people will defend to the bitter end thier own platform preference but the worldwide sales speak for themselves in my opinion.
I beg to differ. Most of these did fall under the radar or didn't receive the recognition that they deserved.
Chernobylite, Terminator Resistance, (especially) Dying Light 2 , Evil West, Weird West, Bugsnax, Guardians of the Galaxy, Like a Dragon and Outriders (pretty much impossible to play solo) were all underrated in my opinion.
Each to their own though.
Although, from my perspective of what I've just seen here, this brings little to no more to the table from what's been done in the past (or coming) I do like these types of settings in games and is on my radar too now :)
There would be at least one more sale they'd make if they went physical too. I just don't buy digital games, they are too expensive here in Australia.

Is it? To you maybe but for others perhaps a release of emotions, anger, stress etc or just being able to be places in a made up universe after a long day's work just to unwind all the tensions of the day.

Seemed more like a story based trailer toe. Didn't see any minimaps etc on the screen once, how do you mean it's gameplay?
It's just a trailer of the story behind the game. Sure, looks great but none of those scenes were playable just looked like cutscenes to me.
That's exactly what I said pre-trailer launch. "Hopefully lots of gameplay and not just a trailer" then got down voted for it.

Wow, I'm actually just half hr or so in on my 2nd playthrough. I'll wait for this update and start again. A $10 fee for what they are offering here is pretty fair in my opinion.
That said though, I also agree with most of you up there that a remaster of this game is way too soon.
A different IP or something/anything else from the ND team would have been more appreciated, on my end anyway.

The game, physical copy, is only $10 on marketplace.
And to the $50 thought, most new games now are more than this. For those who are new to the game thos price is pretty damn good I would think.
And... none of this even mentions that it's one of the best single player games out there on the market (still) to date.
