Personally, if the new pro console came with a stand and a disk drive I wouldn't have a problem with the price.
It's my choice & have the money to do so. I'll will also opt to trade my base ps5 in on it and rarely spend much on myself anyway. The fact that it's the price that it is, without those two previously added pieces, pisses me right off.
I do understand inflation, more production costs, higher wages etc etc, I'm a business owner mys...
Although not a fully fledged 40,000 game, I recently played Hired Gun Necromunda and found it to be a great game. The scale of the environments made you feel like an ant in comparison and really enjoyed it. Give it a go as the scale will feel pretty similar by the looks of it & it's pretty cheap to pickup a 2nd hand copy of it.
Looking forward to grabbing a copy of SM2 day one myself.
This is sad, regardless of game, gameplay, players, etc it's just sad to see something fail after all of the efforts that are put into it.
Maybe but you've missed the point also. Better off having an extra 56 million possibilities of future sales up you're sleeves than just relying on 2 other platforms to carry the game.
If you restrict you're core ordinance then you're putting an unnecessary chokehold on potential sales.
Obviously not all 56 million Playstation 5 users will purchase the game, same for the p.c. or xbox players but better to maximise you're games potential at launch IMO.

I call BS on you're comment unless of course it's the 1st game you've ever seen then and have nothing to compare it to.
Average would be 5/10 I would have thought making this above average - good overall.
But you'll still need the "online requirement" when you do get it in the future so I don't totally get what you mean here.
The online requirement is ONLY for the installation of the game.
Just about every game nowadays has some sort of online connection requirement.
Ans yes I know, no dev should require this from us to play but the benefits of being online outweigh off-line in my opinion especially when it comes to patches etc.
You're comment could be applied to just about any online game these days.
Its now the norm.
Myself, looking forward to playing this game. Really liked Jedi Fallen Order, dabbled in Jedi Survivor but was too soon after F.O. so will play that later. Not having the force and being a Jedi is a welcome change for me anyway. Can't wait.
Or maybe just don't change the colour of default costume and hope this sends a message to the devs. I don't even think I've played around with costumes, weapon skins etc in any game even if they were unlocked during gameplay. Never seen the reason/point to, just want to play the games not check out whats in a wardrobe lol.
I've never understood the criticism of an optional thing either. Abit different if it were pay to win or this was a pvp only game where the upgrad...
I like this game so far. Admittedly very early on but one complaint so far, the lack of objective markers on the mini map or screen makes getting to the next stage more difficult than it needs to me. Just a simple green marker or similar so you have a point of reference/direction would be handy.
If you read up on this 'major issue ' that you guys are all talking about, the internet requirement is ONLY needed to install the game NOT play the game.
Once the game is installed it's on you're system and internet is no longer required.
Seems like too many jump the gun around here.
"Ubisoft confirmed with IGN that an internet connection is required to install Star Wars Outlaws and its updates, but otherwise, you'll be free to p...
And yet you wrote that comment using just that..... Internet.
Hmmm
Mot too sure if this is just me or not but this write up seems way exaggerated. I haven't had many if any problems with this free game at all. I've played it quite abit 50-100 matches so far I'd say and it's run as smooth as butter for me.
Maybe I'm just lucky?
Could it be possibly the players internet connection?
Not giving excuses but just seems odd I've had no or few issues. Certainly no framerate drops that I'm aware of.

@ chicagOriginal
Are you serious? This is such a silly thing to do. Take Alan Wake 2 for instance where they say the game didn't sell as much as expected at launch. Well duh, you are reducing your sales by half by only offering one format, Digital. Now however, many months later, they are releasing it on disk where it's now, with respect, a forgotten game due to how long it's been.
This is not a good idea moving forward in my opinion.
If releasing a ga...
Wow, thanks for the heads up. For me, for this game, what I've seen of it and judging from the past game I'm down for it. Very rarely do I buy original and was damn disappointed to hear it was digital only but this now is a must buy for me.
You don't have internet? Just asking.
So true, not necessarily just this game but I decide my games myself from what I've seen of them as opposed to someone else's perspective of their likes and dislikes of that game. I'm the one parting with my money, i'll decide damn it lol.
I quite like what I've seen here. Creat looking characters, a solid story, an entertaining universe and have kept all of the starwars feel to the game. I'm quite excited fir it. I played Fallen Order which i thought I'd dabble in but was surprised by the game as a whole. Am yet to play Jedi Survivor but will but this newest trailer has me intrigued indeed.
Sounds pretty cool as it's a free download for PSN this week.
The best way to bring back the fun, for me, is to bring back the need for team play. That's what made it fun i think. Now that it's turned into a run and gun like COD, no offence intended, they've taken away the only thing that made the game/games stand out from the rest.
Also, with the tech now available please double down on the destruction system.
