I've played in games that have them i.e. COD but have noticed no changes in the game whilst playing to know what it actually is or does!
@ ricegum, some of us work or have lives outside of gaming as well which makes up for alot of the other hours within 8544hrs total for the year.
For me, i finished recently Sniper Elite 4, TLOU (4th playthrough), COD-MW campaign & a good few hrs of multi player which i enjoyed more than i thought, dabbled in Mad Max & Borderlands 3 but couldn't get into them, tried to play the Old Hunters in Bloodborne but accidentally wrote over my old game save and have to start again...
You guys can continue to argue on by yourselves but 2 games I've not heard much about for quite a while and we're supposed to be 2019 releases as far as i know, are Atomic Heart & Spaun.
Both of these games look fantastic but have heard bugger-all about them since the initial few clips/trailers.
Me want's to know where they are????

Am looking forward to this game. I enjoyed the last one. Having said that, adding a grappling hook is a miss for me. I'm sure it'll be fun and am still gonna play it but it just doesn't need to be in there. It's too... Just Cause like for my liking and detracts from the raw feel of the typical Doom game.
I do understand that new things must be implemented to draw in the gamer but i'm just not sure a grappling hook does it for me?

Atomic Heart & Spaun are two games that I was under the presumption that were releasing in 2019. These two games are definitely on my wish and want list.
It's funny actually coz last week when i heard that Cyberpunk 2077 had been delayed which i had already pre-ordered i went down to our local games shop and changed Cyberpunk to a decision i didn't make lightheartedly between Doom Eternal & Dying Light because it was going to release sooner. Not the case now is it agghh.
Now i wonder if i change it again to Doom if ...... i won't jinx in....

No, sorry. As much as I'd like that to be true, it sounds more like a wish list/personal list to me.
Motorstorm, Killzone seem more like wish lists to me. Will probably happen down the track but not at launch.
I'm thinking more like Cyberpunk, TLOU, Doom etc releases to run more advanced etc at launch and fine tuned to the new tech is a more likely scenario.

I must agree with you capjacksparrow. An awesome game and enthralling in every way. One of my most memorable games I've played to date..
I think 8K is along way off or may not even take off at all. Not sure if anyone has actually checked out 8K but there really is very minimal differences between 4 & 8K. It's not double resolution as you might think.
You have to be sitting just 2 feet away at the moment to see any real differences. That's really uncomfortable and silly infront of a 65 inch tv.
