Wanna know how many times i died when 1st shown/prompted which button i had to press to cling/grab to a wall agghhhh. I got to see the fire'y pits of lava too many times lol.

Hey guys. Any idea how you actually get to play the Doom 64 game in the 1st place. Sounds silly i know but for pre ordering DOOM ETERNAL you get a free copy of t but have o idea how to find or access it?
I understand this was more of a technological meeting, press release and although i have no intention on buying a system to play games from a previous gen, i gotta say I'm a little disappointed. I'm certainly not tech savy but it can't be all that difficult to have an emulator/program that can run in the backround that can allow ypu to play previous gen. Even if it's not upscaled etc and jyst the exact same experience it shouldn't be that hard to accomplish.

On one hand you are saying that VR headset needs alot of power i.e. built into the unit or your other alternative is for the ps5 to run it wirelessly. With the wireless option would you not have less power as its not built in?

I'd suggest to play Doom 2016 1st personally. Notfor story etc but if you play Eternal now and go backwards at some point later and play 2016 you'll be a little dissapointed. NOT because it wasn't as good etc but moreso because gamplay & graphics will be more prominent and refined in the new game and going backwards is never as good as playing that installment when its fresh.

I myself was interested in Agent too which has been sad no to see the light of day.
Two others to mention are Atomic Heart & Scorn.
Atomic Heart took me by surprise and blew me away with the design and atmospheric tension.
It better hit the ps5 or else..... I'll get upset 🥺

I must say, IW have turned things around with this game. For now at least it shows they are listening.
I struggled with the controls in the psvr version of this game. Not fue to the game it was just me but inevitably & shamefully i gave up. I really liked what i saw in thete though. I will definitely pick this up on ps4 later when released.
Better to have less at the beginning and have regular DLC releases than everything at once, like you say 16 maps, and people get bored quicker as most maps have been played already or only 6 or so maps are regularly played anyway.
I like thier approach this time, it's been free, regular & way morefun than previous rekeases.

An amazing amount of support this game has had over the years. All that support and it was free in the 1st place. What more could we ask for.

After reading all of the above comments i see not one ps owner begging for info asap. Infact, inc my previous comment, all i can see /read are ps gamers who are fine with waiting and happy playing what they have and excited about what is in the near future of ps4 game releases.

Personally, they haven't pushed the hype of the ps4 as such this gen with advertising, boasting on what they are dishing out, bragging sales numbers etc etc and i mean that in a good way, they've let the software & support do most if not all of the talking instead and allowed us gamers decide if we are hap...
Both Maximo games for sure are missing from my ps4 library :(

Maybe wait to see more 1st.
The shotgun sounded authentic, the blood spatter too looked decent.
