I just received the update about an hour ago, and so far what I have seen has been a welcome addition. I especially like being able to sort my friends list. the netflix improvements are fantastic.
am I Gamer for life, but I have happily passed on the love of video gaming to my son's. Gaming is part of our overall playtime together; and I view it as a valuable tool in father son interaction.
If you have not played Braid I highly recommend that you do. The Game had my friends and I discussing it long after the "ending credits". And, since my circle of friends is in the really damn close to forty subset maybe discussing the philosophical meaning of the game was more natural to us then say the 14 year old crowd.

Update? Give me a break, all the update did s give people the opportunity to tamper with class limit and turn crits on and off. I still play Tf2 on the 360 actively and have friends list populated with Tf2 fans; and not one of them has embraced the update. We really don't understand what valve was thinking. Example, yesterday (mid-game) the host decides that there will be no more power classes and poof the classes that were kicking his b teams but were relegated to scouts. If valve was trying...
i could care less-- the limited ads that are on the 360 are about as unobtrusive as an ad can be; a lot less than say the ads on n4g. In reality ads are everywhere in one form or another

my brother is gay, one of my lifelong friends is gay, and we have an agreement I will not espouse the wonders of the vajayjay, and they will not articulate their love of buggery.. sounds fair to me.. Sexual orientation or lack of it does not define you as a person..how you live your life and in my opinion how you treat those around you contribute to a your identity much more than who you like to sleep with.
Since we are on the subject of parents and video games I have few suggestions.
1. Learn how to setup Parental controls on the console.
2. Be familiar with what your Kids are playing (if not by participating with them, at least by watching them play).
3. Remember M means Mature ergo consider it an R rating.
4. Your Console is not a parent nor baby sitter.
5. Fostering burgeoning independence does not mean you relinquish parental control.

36,493,700 kills on friday my PS3 brethren and the 360 community broke 43 mil on Tuesday? What is up My friends with the Big black box? I know you ps3 guys and gals are fervent gamers, but what (if anything) does it say about the disparity between the consoles? You need to unlock Coral Sea so you can feel as queasy as I do every time I try to fly err I mean crash my plane into the cold blue depths.

time I use IE is when Firefox crashes, and trust me it repeatedly does for me; however, Firefox crashing does not keep me from trying to use it. IE will work when every other browser I try will not, so I will give IE credit where it is do.
