I may feel the same way if I had had a similar experience.

My current 360 runs 17- 18 hours a day on average and barely has a heat signature emanating from the console (11 months). My previous two consoles lasted a few months 1 was 2 flashing lights (replaced for free), and the other was my stupid fault (yanked network cable) again replaced for free. I am extremely happy with my 360 (and XBL), and have been very pleased with MS customer service. I understand other peoples issues with the 360 leaving them with a bad taste in their mouths; but each pe...

The datel memory cards are how the cheaters in my favorite game were able to access the console commands thus enabling cheats, mods etc. I for one am glad that Datel's cheating conduits have been rendered obsolete. MS may make expensive peripherals but for example all my MS products are still kicking and any crap I bought has long since failed me. I have 4 sons and own 2 360's and 6 controllers and all that is still left stsnding is the MS products. Do I wish there were Cheaper higher memo...

Forklift you just hauled a pallet of truth into the N4G warehouse and I am not sure if any was ordered. Your comments contain that element that many fan "boys" on this site are allergic to, and that would be truth. Truth can not only set you free it may get you riddled with disagrees.

So many sites that discuss gaming employ the same levels of journalistic integrity as say the National Enquirer or the Globe. In fact we could Have a National Game Enquirer with articles such as " Michael Jackson's Sperm Impregnates PS3, Promises to Beat it Regularly" or "Xbox 360 Abducted By Aliens Develops True Red-Ring of Death due to Incessant Probing". Ben Dutka is spot on in his criticism of those that participate in such practices.

That's the first time I have seen that site called lame by Fans of the Ps3. Electronic devices sometimes are dysfunctional, and as long as its being taken care of it should not reflect poorly on your device.I hate for any gamer to have issues with the hobby they love, and I am sure that any problems that may exist will be resolved quickly. No matter what it still trips me out to see a Ps3Centric website vilified like that.
If I were to be a literalist; " It Only Does Everything&...

I guess books and film became devalued along side open-mindedness and tolerance.

just curious as to why online gaming should be free? Why should anything in this world that costs money to develop, host, and manage be expected to be "free"? Since most services in this world have some kind of cost associated with them; why should online gaming be different?

Now when the Ps3 fans pull out their soap boxes and curse XBL as the devil, they may have to say "PS3, it only does everything except remain completely free". Ps3 fan don't get upset I am just pulling your chains. All companies want to make money and it does seem like the PSN has the potential to be worth paying for. Just remember paying for something in no way translates to "evil" I have nothing against sony or fans of Sony products its just doesn't work for me.

for XBL because i choose to, because i think its worth the minuscule amount of money that it cost me, and ultimately because i really enjoy the service; which augments the already plentiful enjoyment that i get from my 360. I played around in the "Home" space and all I could think was how similar it was to Second Life, a watered down SL. Choice is a great and the more choice the better.

The author of the article frames it in such a way that he would like me to believe that MS would be surprised by this news. It is hard for me to imagine either company being caught off guard by the actions of their respective competitors. Although I do not Own a PS3; I hope Sony's implementation of FB is just as well conceived as the version I enjoy on my console of choice. It seems to me one of the caveats of this generation's console war is a 'Policy of Preemption" (except the Wii sinc...

another well intentioned piece of technology that can be used to virtually and discreetly track and categorize the citizenry of my beloved country. Civil libertarians get your attorneys ready just in case The Googlement is watching.

Leave it to a government to find a hardcore use for the Wii.

been on the preview update and i must say viewing your photo albums and your friends photo albums on your tv is sweet. I am impressed with the initial iterations of the new additions to the the dashboard. I certainly have used them much more than I thought I would.
