I'm approaching 40 years as a gamer, and am very happy about it. Gaming keeps me connected with my children, helps me escape physical torment, and keeps me in touch with a variety of individuals whom I would have never met, but I earnestly, call friends. Anything I am ashamed of, is of far more consequence than my gaming life. If you are ashamed, don't be. It is ok to still love some of the things that made you happy as a child/teen. Nice editorial.

I love it!, too. I am having so much fun playing the game. I don't do loot caves,or that sort of thing, since It would break the game, for me. I don', truly, get the hate. Is it perfect? no! Is it tremendously fulfilling combat? Yes! Put it on level 26 or better, and you have a fight on your hands. I am Vexed by the anti Destiny Cabals, and perplexed by their Hive minded disdain for a game, that should not have Fallen off of anyone's radar.
It's crazy fun, and the Kinect integration is excellent IMO.
Iim not worried, I feel it was purchased for all the blocks that encompass what minecraft is, and not what MS envisions it to be.
I give the article a 1.5 out of 5, and Destiny a solid 4.
Minecraft is a timeless game, a great entry point for all types of individuals into the world of gaming. My sons still play it, I play it, and kids in diapers now, will be playing it in their future. A future, I believe, that is more guaranteed. The digital cousin to Legos, Minecraft, too, will never go out of stile. I think its a great acquisition, as long as all platforms are supported.
Being told your opinion is wrong, is wrong in and of its self. However, I do disagree with many of your points. I found the dialog to be surprisingly human, and not filled with supercilious, superfluous hero jargon. It's a desolate, and this is the "end" kind of world. It's flaws make me feel the humanity is doomed vibe. There are no Cmdr Shepherd speeches here, just a populace on the brink of extinction, and the Guardians thrust into the Herculean task of saving it. Fun, F...
I agree.. Destiny to me, is an incredibly fun experience, that I can gladly share with my sons. We have had a blast, some intense firefights, and a loot system I actually enjoy. I would give the game a solid 8.5, with a 9.5 for gameplay, and intensity. If others found it lacking, that is their perogative, and I have no criticism for it; however, I strongly disagree, and would recommend Destiny to anyone that is a FPS fan.
If opinions are like a$$holes, and everyone has one; then, I would like to point out, Level 7's is exceptionally stinky. I disagree with every point made in its review, of Destiny.
I didn't like that you felt you needed to scream your point; concordantly, while your right to an opinion is sacrosanct , it doesn't mean it has any relevance to me, and my opinion.
I'm a Halo fanboy, and I also love Destiny thus far!! I have room for more than one entertainment property in my heart and mind, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
