It's been enjoyable to read such spirited debate.
Giving the finger to the shareholder is not the job of an executive board, in a publicly traded company.
There is a difference between someone's account being socially engineered, and an external intrusion that impacts 77 million accounts. I applaud Sony for trying something difficult, it just was too difficult for 3rd party developers to take it to that Sony owned studios level of fidelity, because of Cell complexities. The point us the PS3 had a rough launch with some seriously arrogant executives making outlandish statements, and a machine more complicated than its competitor, but it'...
People will be taught discipline by working two jobs to buy a PS3 (paraphrase)
The first five million will buy it even without games
Next gen doesn't start until we say it does.
The cell processor, and all it's esoteric beauty
Sonys hacked and brought down for over a month. This is just a smidgen of the mistakes Sony made, (and arguably recovered from) or let be made. Remember that while you're neverforgetting
When people make a m...
First congrats to Sony. While I'm not a Sony detractor, it would be remiss to call me a fan. However, I am a diehard 360 owner, and a huge fan of XBL in my 39 years of gaming, I have had the most fun with the Xbox over the last 7 years, and can't wait until I join the XO club. Kudos to Microsoft for learning how to adapt, eat crow, and move forward. I have played on the xbox one, and am impressed with how awesome the so-called inferior machine operates. Since, I won't leave my son...
I wish they would return to the awesomeness of RF2, just open world.
Your speculations reek of a Chicken Little like attitude. I vehemently disagree with your assessment.
To me, google has taken over that mantle.
So Sony TV, vita, smart TVs, Ps4, PS now, and PS3 aren't an attempt at control? It's just companies devoping, fostering, and attempting to please a wide, diverse audiences through connected experiences. IMO of course.
You're confusing Microsoft the company with a subset of xbox owners that liked to beat their proverbial chests.; concordantly, a subset of Playstation fans have been doing the same thing this new gen.
I am totally ready for an era of good natured competition, to wit "Can't we all just get along?".
Cool premise, looking forward to more information.
You can thank the nearly 15 million unit gap(1) on 360 for the love xbox fans got, if the 360 fans are to blame for anything, it's opening their wallets a significant number of times more than the PS3 fanbase. Money is a powerful motivator.
(1) number is all COD titles Lifetime according to VG charts. So grain of salt required.
If the PS4 dominates the NPD for 32 months in a row (like the 360), then you guys can truly go Booyaa and celebrate with an end zone dance, but 5 months might warrant no more than a high five. I stand by my position that the game has just started, kudos for the PS4's early success, but relax and enjoy the game, it's not even close to over.
I've been her for 7 years, and it has not changed..
Well, this is an xbox thread so obviously it draws the Sony zealots to make sure that the 'spin' stays the way they want it to flow. It does not bother me because I love the troll finger-pointing, and witless banter that transpires in many a thread, very entertaining. I'm a die hard 360 owner, btw.
It's not even 5 minutes into the first period of this generation, and all I've seen is Goal!TD celebrations from many in the Sony camp. Let the game unfold, before a winner is declared.
Most Everything typed on this website is either opinion, conviction, or rhetoric; therefore it's silly to point out the obvious. However, I happen to agree with his opinion, IMO, of course.
So being a drawf garners one sympathy?
And I offer you sympathy for living up to the root of your alias.
It's arrogant to claim to speak for anyone, other than yourself, when it comes to what people want. However, expecting anything less from a one bubblite is counterintuitive.
