Putting aside the fact that live service games make significantly more money than single player games, Wasn't this particular studio working on a single-player game? If I am not mistaken, this is one of the studios that hasn't made or tried a live service game. Their last game Shadow of War from 2017 was single player and so was this new wonder woman game.

It isn't, especially not for the consumer. At best this is just a lie to make people who support trump to think this is happening or the government is footing majority of the bill. Do you seriously think if Apple start making more things in the states, their current prices would remain the same? They will go up significantly. Either the government keeps subsidizing them or they leave, as soon as the subsidies stop.

@Embardoman

Yessssss, it's the snoy clown getting triggered at, if you don't like it, don't buy it. Pathetic. It must be so awesome to be this fragile

Hostile? If that's what you tell yourself with those silly takes, then sure, telling you Don't like, don't buy is very very very hostile. Spider-Man 2, was far far better than the 1st game, Insomniac clearly wants to focus on Miles, if you don't like that, good for you, don't buy. Miles being in Spider-Man 2 made it a far better game than the 1st.

Anyway 👋 keep those takes coming

Why would Miles have to take a vacation? If you don't like him as the main character, then good for you. Don't buy the game.

Insomniac wants to tell his story and they should, hell am shocked they didn't kill off Peter, would definitely have made it more exciting

It was actually the right choice because those games, regardless of how you feel about them were not selling. A significant majority of gamers just didn't care about them.

You people will literally make up new lies just to fit whatever lies you have made up

That is why you call greed, make a bad game get laid off, make a good game still get laid off. But the point stands, when someone says something that goes with the narrative, so called gamers jump to support them, yet the second that same person says something that goes against the made up narrative people have been promoting, all of a sudden, naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, that is a lie or don't believe them

No, but it would be nice if you took some basic reading comprehension classes. Might be rocket science to you, but please feel free to pull out the popcorn, it might help you.

Again, please let me know if this is hard for you to understand. I'm here to help. Ok? Good

Because times change. I have seen people claim they want multi player like how it used to be, but are quick to drop a new game when they don't add enough new content every 2-3 months. Companies do it because it's what sells. Try releasing an online only game without any road map or enough content coming up every 2-3 months and watch your player drop.

@-Foxtrot

Yeah we get it fox, if someone says something that aligns with you opinions you believe them, but when the same person says something that doesn't align with whatever opinion or narrative you have cooked up, you question them. That is such a perfect way to view things

The studios were not forced. Sucker Punch, Sony Santa Monica, Housemarque, Team Asobi, Media Molecules and Nixxes Software are not known to be working on any live service game...

@thesoftware730

That is incorrect. They wanted to make Days Gone part 2, but Sony shot it down—exactly why you said, Sony didn't feel like it made enough money, so they were forced to do something else, and it fell right in line with Sony's management Gaas strategy...it's a situation of, you cant argue with the boss.

You are wrong, the game was not pitched to Sony. Days Gone not getting a sequel was Studio Bends decision, the game was cancelle...

You might be shocked to learn this, but not all Sony studios were working on live service games, I know that is the false narrative some so called gamers love to push. Plus most of the studios working on live service games were purchased by Sony

I know right, they believed everything he said before, but the second he says something that goes against, whatever narrative they cooked up in their heads, they say, naaaaaa, we don't believe you.

Well that is a lie you just made up, every Sony wasn't working on a live service game. But hey, we can also pretend, Sucker Punch, Sony Santa Monica, Housemarque, Team Asobi, Media Molecules and Nixxes Software were all working on live service games. 😂

It seems that many gamers do not like information that goes against things they have made up their minds about. Also, Naughty Dog for example was working on Factions 2 long before Sony wanted to try a live service...

So basically, you only believe him when what he says fits the narrative you agree with, how fun. You don't see it happening because you made up your own mind and when more information is revealed that goes against what you have already made up your mind about, you start complaining.

It's actually understandable why Bend wanted to try a live service game. They made days gone and many gamers refused to support it at full price. I absolutely loved it when many gamer co...
