The current XMB is one of the best interfaces I have experienced.
The only changes I would like to see made are additional representation's of the "XMB". Such as a circular XMB which PlayTV has, for which you can choose to change yourself as apposed to having a change forced onto you...

Motorstorm 1 looks better than 99% of 360 games and that was a launch game. Some people try to argue it was released 5 months after Japan got the PS3 but Motorstorm was developed in the UK and that means it was in fact a launch game because of the date their region started selling the machine.
Very, very few if any games on 360 can match some of the things that game still manages. Plenty of PS3 have looked next gen before...

Because in the UK you fall under SCEE, and SCEE is by far the biggest of all the SCE Divisions. Over 100 countries.
SCEE has to cater for Europe, Middle East, Western Asia and Australasia. That is alot of different regions, different cultures and more importantly alot of laws to get through before anything can be announced and/or released.
Perosnally, if SCEE catered just for Europe, or preferably the EU regions, then things would progress much quicker.

GT5 will be the biggest game in terms of sales. I also think that GT5 will be the biggest in terms of quality... but then again with a budget of $60,000,000 so far and many years in production it should be.
Not to take anything away from the GOW3, GT5 is just on a different scale to anything else in console gaming and will have the biggest advertising campaign for a PS3 game and will appeal to more people in general.

TVersity is great if you have the right equipment to support it.
Ratified N Routers imporove functionality even though the PS3 is Wireless G. Better still, wired streams HD content flawless with same Wireless N Router.
There are some other tips mate I can pass on, give us a PM if you want to know some more about improving streaming performance.
