Very true there buddy. 4K on disc would not be 6.5Mbits. But remember, 1080p on youtube is far less than 6.5Mbits even though it is approximately 35Mbits on disc.
Darth, that Sharp product is probably going nowhere. Someone, I think Pioneer, has already created a 400GB Blu-Ray disc that works with current Blu-Ray players after a firmware update.

4K will not look as good as 1080p on a 1080p screen. Simple as that. But there are some people who have 4KTV sets... but they are extremely rare, we are talking talking multi-millionaire terrority and above.

It was not the UK's decision, it was the Conservatives decision. Labour created the Tax Break and it was generally applauded around the country when people found out the reason they got the tax break.

My TWO HD5870 rig was simple to connect to the 40" HDTV.
It was as simple as plugging in the HDMI cable between the TV and Card and voila, the picture was Plug'n'Play in glorious 1080 60Hz. Can't wait to get a 600Hz LEDTV.
The last time I checked, Fallout 3 didn't really "just work" on PS3.
