I thought the European 60GB Phat model showed you didn't need PS2 chips.
More woryingly, why has the person writing that reprt got worse spelling than me!
Yes, it is entirely possible the Wii U will not sell as much as the Wii. But when you have great success it is often difficult to repeat that later on.
If Wii U doesn't sell as much as Wii we should not look at it as a failure, because it is more a case of Wii being a completely unexpected success story.
Thus, Bloomberg, you are todays winner of the 'Truly Obvious Award', presented by Captain Obvious!
Why not? Given what has happened this year I think most people would expect their security to be better than the extreme majority of other systems out there now.
It doesn't mean it is fool proof because no system is unhackable, but you don't think they are not going to try and make sure the same thing doesn't happen again do you?
PSN has been up and running for a few weeks now, and it is still probably being targetted on a daily basis. The hacker...
Lol... are serious there? EA thought they could sell NFL to spanish speakers?
That is football territory, EA should know better. Those folks are only interested in FIFA.
No, he said that there will be a time where to increase detail it will require amazing huge improvements in the next level of hardware. He was talking about, and actually stated, 'diminishing returns'.
Think of it like this by using Moore's Law for computer hardware and we will start with year 1996 and each 1.5 years is the improvement on the previous point:
Jan 1996 - starting point
July 1997 - 100% imporovement on Jan 1996

There is an 8THz (8,000GHz) processor that was built in 2008, or maybe 2006, but we still do not see that sort of technology on the market.
It is an optical processor which uses laser light photons, instead of the more conventional 'electrical' electrons. The result means this processor is far more efficient in the cooling department, in fact, it is far cooler than todays readily available Intel, AMD and IBM processors.
This ultra fast processor is n...

You can build a gaming PC for $700, but it would not be anywhere near as good as a gaming PC that costs $2000.
But that is by the by, the thing that matters most is what you want and what you are willing to put up with.
If that means a $300 PS3, $700 gaming PC or a top of the range $2000... so be it. The magic of this world is it is all your choice and nobody can stop you.
IF... IF... this is indicative of what it suggests then the two GT5 videos on my youtube account would suggest kids don't like that game as well.
The GT5 videos are most popular with:
Male 35-44
Male 25-34
Male 18-24
Some critics said the same thing when the Wii was released. Ninty just laughed it's butt off on it's way to the bank.
I am so looking forward to this game!
I am sure the 35 Anonymous members said they were very well hidden as well.
There is something people need to consider though.
Will the likes of IGN type websites or a magazines start rating games properly when those developers are giving them money via adverts?
It is like the situation with 'Which?' magazine. We all know Norton and McAfee suck really bad, they slow the PCs down and don't find many viruses.... but they always get good reviews. Why? Because they advertise on their magazine and thus bring in alot of money t...
So I am the only worried about that statement about the population. There were 1 billion less people in 1997? I am not looking forward to 2050... the queues for games will be HUGE!
ZOMG!! 14%!!! THATS MORE THAN CHINA!!!
I'll be honest, I clicked the link to check out the totty. :(
One year there was a porn star there.... and she is known as a gamer. It was why she was there, but... considering some of the people who go are quite young it might not have been most tasteful move to have her be a booth babe lol.
Still... I would tap it. XD
It's that NOS girl for me, with the fake glasses. Don't know why, women in glasses does it for me!

If you have time to look at tree's in GT5 then you suck at getting upto speed in racing games.
