@AngelicIceDiamond
He is right, to an extent. We want those games on a Nintendo console. BK, Conker, Joanna Dark would be in Smash Bros. A BK X DK game would be a dream come true. Sadly, M$ is doing everything in their power to destroy the reputation of once a great developer.
''real shame''

Ugh. I am not good with charge characters. At least, I got Rolento and Elena to try out. A little disappointing overall.
PS4, Wii U, 3DS,and Vita. Maybe an Xbox One if they lower the price, has enough exclusives, and they take out the spy camera.
Brazil should have Blanka as their mascot. The field would be electric-fying!
King K. Rool
Ridley
Shulk
Everything else is a bonus.
The long cutscenes in the MGS series were my least favorite part of the series. The story was great, but the scenes lasted way too long. Less cutscenes the better.
Another day, another dumbass review. This maybe worse than Gamespots review.
I do love the darker look of the older games than Retro's more colorful look. However, since there are alot of dark and depressing environments in alot of new games that are out there, it is a welcome addition.

There is no ''cheap deaths'' in DKCTF, though. If you die, it is most likely your fault. Only a small number of critics have given this game an okay score so ''many'' is a poor choice of words on your part. How about play the game before you judge it solely on a few reviews that said ''cheap deaths'' is a tactic in this game?
To be fair, DKCTF is mostly a single player experience. The co-op in the game is very much a mixed bag. You have to time jumps, pay attention to the environment, etc and it gets really chaotic if you have another player with you. If Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros. doesn't have online play then I would understand the complaints. However, with DK it is not needed.
The game wasn't built for co-op. It was just an option for the less experience players.
Nintendo, please bring Majora's Mask to 3DS. It has been such a long time since I have played it.
Screw Attack, nuff said.
When did games have to be ambitious in order for that developer to be respected. Sucker Punch is making their third Infamous game and I don't here anybody complain about it not being ambitious. Why is Retro treated differently? I know, we don't have alot of new IPs from Nintendo and it would be nice to see that coming from Retro, but its not something I expect from them. They offer new gameplay elements for their established IPs. That is what I expect.
I also believe ...
But them making another Metroid Prime could be just as safe as another DK game. I hate this overbearing assumption that anybody can make a 2D game. Yeah anybody can make a good 2D game, but not on the same level as Retro.
Why did DKCTF had to be ambitious in order to be respected? Metroid Prime 2 & 3 wasn't exactly ambitious, but it was still respected. It seems people's perception of the DK series is that it wastes the talent of the developers at Retro. Its only...
Any review that has given this game below an 8, just proves how unreliable the gaming media has become. I am all for opinions. However, the opinions themselves are illogical. The only logical low score came from Edge. This game is not below an 8 and to say there is no creativity in the levels is just utterly, excuse my language, BULLSHIT!
@DryBoneKoopa85
I wasn't implying you were apart of the 'whiny fanbase who wanted metroid' and I am sorry if I made it seem that way.
However, you did say in your first statement ''we all know Retro is making a new Metroid game.'' You were stating it as a fact. I would love to see another Metroid from them, but lets try not to jump the gun.
''We all know Retro is doing another Metroid.''
Please give me a source, because everybody said the same thing before DKC Tropical Freeze was announced.
At this point, it could be anything: DK, Metroid, Star Fox, New IP, etc.
Just don't get your hopes up, please. I don't want see whiny children complain like the E3 incident last year.
Great news would be to sell RARE back to Nintendo, and Banjo Kazooie in Smash Bros. would happen. Alot of former RARE employees said they would go back to RARE if Nintendo acquired them again. Anything they develop under M$, would be the same ole crap we've been getting since the buyout.
