This game looks AMAZING!!! I can't believe so many people are so critical of this game. ''Its not innovative or ambitious'' is what I hear from alot of people. When did direct sequels ever innovate its gameplay styles. Rather they add to the experiences from its predecessor. SM Galaxy 2 added to experience but it wasn't drastically different from the first. Same goes for Metroid Prime 2 and 3. Same for Uncharted 2 and 3...

Mario or any Nintendo ip wouldn't sell on a Sony and Microsoft system if the N4G comments are any indication.
At the end of the day, Nintendo will always be in a 'damned if you do, damned if you don't' type situation. I'm looking at all the comments and everybody has a different solution to their problems.

Simon Belmont should be in if Snake doesn't comeback. I like both but Castlevania has so much history with Nintendo it would just make sense. Plus we would have the Captain N team back (mega man, pit, and simon)

Strongly disagree. In DKCR, every level felt like you were doing something different. Every area was alive and you were always on your toes. I like DKCR because it felt very cinematic and you don't see that on any other 2D platformer (well maybe Rayman). DKCR was like the Uncharted of platformers. I agree, but that is not going determine if the game is bad or not. It wouldn't sell any better if it was on the other systems either. Platinum games never sell, sadly. :(

Fanboys are gamers just as much as the hardcore. Who are we to judge. I know fanboys are the worst in gaming society , be it nintendrones, ponies, or xbots, but we do have one thing in common. WE PLAY VIDEO GAMES. Hardcore, casuals, and even fanboys are all apart of the gaming ecosystems. We all should learn how to get along with one another, and live as gamers.

The former Naughty Dog guy left them because he didn't want to work on a REALISTIC game. Metroid probably fits the realism description. I don't know why people bring this guy up. DK could be that amazing game he is working on for all we know. Just because it isn't 3D doesn't mean it is not special. He probably enjoys making games like DK.

1. There hasn't been alot of details out for the game yet
2. DK is no ordinary platformer. Plus the other systems are oversaturated with shooters yet no one complains.
3. DK is an extremely hard ass platformer. Not many of these ''kids and teens'' could possibly beat it unless they are skilled at platformers.
