Multi cpu is not the same as multicore cpu, it will be much harder to develope game for when u use a complex hardware setup, not to mention the power they draw and heat they generate, and then it adds up to the physical size as well. No body wants to repeat the sega saturn tragedy, equipped with dual cpu but nobody made use of the second and they just made a hardware revision ditching the second cpu entirely. So, no, its not always better to add more cpus.
As much as I hate being outnumbered, it's just how the game is designed and one just has to accept it. It's not a Street Fighter, or SoulCalibur or Tekken, this involves team strategy and picking the right fight is big part of it. Plus, there's some nice system for you to use while fighting multi enemies, it's possible to survive 3 enemies if you are good.
It's funny how PC only gamers always insult the poorman's console then they ask for the exclusives...
I can't believe uncharted 4 is not in the list.
While outlast is scary on its own way, I feel it's for immersive for a game where the player is able to do at least some weak attacks or some self defense mechanism. It grows old quite quickly when you just keep fleeing...
This game company is just too cool.
sory, by the look of switch right now, it's not gonna happen.
No matter how you spin it, having weak hardware definitely wont make it look good. Developers want to have a hardware to comfortably make games in, especially the switch came in this gen so late, when the devs need to put so much effort to make ports for it, they will think twice to even decide on porting it. That might make the switch another "nintendo titles only" device.
It seems capcom is trying their best to make this game great in VR, but after 20 minutes of gameplay I felt terribly nausea, and it's not capcom's fault, it's the nature of this type of game that's not very suitable for VR, and I ran it on the pro if you wonder.
HD rumble! Now we can play guessing how many ice cubes in the controller! lol...
Tax on non American made goods? Almost nothing is not made in China now...
man~~~~
and I bought a PSVR for this game!
In the days of 128gb micro sd card around, game cartridge this size is not surprising.
Another machine that doesn't let me use the Astro A50, after the ps4 slim.
If the Switch is 50 bucks cheaper then its great. For now I don't see how it will be something other than a mario+zelda machine.
The conference was really bad, Nintendo has a lot to learn about making a good presentation. The first thing to ditch are those prerecorded videos of the producers, they are so cheesy!
Nintendo is like a stubborn old friend refusing to seek medical advise while having health issue.
It's not just about the speed to the internet when only one device connected via WIFI. When you have more devices connected to the same network, WIFI can drop in speed/reliability severely.
It's stupid to compare it with PS Vita. Vita is a handheld, it's like saying iphone doesn't have a LAN port. No matter how hybrid the Switch is, being a console is still a big part of it. You don't need very fast internet speed for gaming but you'd want a stable and consistent connection. WIFI can drop easily when you have a few phones, tablets, tv boxes connected to the router. I have a good router, fast internet connection, but i still chose LAN connection through a home...
this thing looks like the switch...
