Buying the game has no impact on mtx. If no mtx are bought the practice will die out because there will be no return on the investment to create them.

Throwing more devs at a project doesnt mean its going to make the development faster.
In teams of 100’s it can make the amount of code conflicts when you merge yours a real headache everytime. Also sometimes leading to regressions because what you’ve worked on is broken by another change that wasnt in your code when you developed it.

tbh if your a casual FF player just skip remake cos its boring. Rebirth has a catch up video that pretty much sums it up.
I agree remake was filler but there was no way they were gonna remake it in one game. It would’ve been development hell because it would take 20 years and require constant tech debt upgrades during that process prolonging development.
Remake was average, but in hindsight seems necessary to make the rest of the game really great.
Not a big surprise really. All games are pretty rough until the very end and everything is released with bugs regardless of how the consumer quantifies it as being “polished.”
Just watch the story catch up video in Rebirth. Remake just wasnt a good game.
To anyone new to FFVII I’d suggest the play the original then rebirth.
Yeah hard disagree on this. If you skip remake you wont miss out on anything. The story truly kicks off when you leave Midgar.
