I cant help but think of that VGA interview Geoff did with Angry Joe, every time I hear of him. I dunno he seems like a d-bag so i'm not sure what people like about him.

I was trying to get at the futility of telling someone how good something is without showing them, just to hype them up. LOL.
"Gorgeous gameplay. Epic worlds. I cannot wait for full immersion next year."
This about every game where someone who got to see it talks about how good it is in very general terms:

I paid it off in full a while ago since I trust Kojima's games to be top notch, TPP will be my Uncharted for the year and the restructuring of Konami dosen't change anything for the game so theres no point in cancelling.
"Then it got delayed less than a month after and when it released still looked great just not as great."
That's just optimization, every game goes through that, not every detail can be as pristine later on down. But in the case of PC a lot of texture detail was just removed for the sake of it, even though the PC could scale that detail better since it has no limit on power, it's the only platform I can definitively say was downgraded by Ubisoft. In the case ...
Ubisoft is just baiting with really high polished PC demos for the initial trailers and gameplay, then a couple months later, they hit you with the regular console footage= BOOM! Downgrade. Technically they haven't downgraded anything until the release, they just switch from PC initially to console for later actual gameplay demos to show the game off and the difference is jarring because of this transition. However as I remembered from WatchDogs they did take away some of the high end tex...
I doubt any developer/publisher would bother to do what Nintendo does, it's obviously bad PR. But more then that, business wise it makes them less money since they don't have that word of mouth generated by the completely free advertisement youtuber's give developers anyway. It just looks like Nintendo is not delegating decision making for policies like this instead waiting for Iwata to slowly nod approval. It's the bad side of the Japanese way of doing business I guess, consi...
I pre-ordered and paid it off already from gamestop for the Red hood DLC and got the 75th anniversary poster, from their earlier promo. Much better deal.

As a side topic, now that I think of it, it would be cool if the batman edition PS4 came default with a dynamic theme ...
@ Ultra
Im with you there, Morpheus will probably be the main reason to bring PS home back, it would be crazy fun to see, and with the extra horsepower of the new consoles even more stuff going on onscreen. I can imagine going through MIB headquarters in 3D on home with either frank or wormguy companion. I miss the worm guy companion I bought! Coolest one I've seen on home, lol.
It seems to me from what I've seen of articles that compare budget PC's against the new consoles for a similar price point is that they most likely wont keep up their performance advantage( it's not that great to begin with in most comparisons anyway) years later due to consoles naturally getting better optimizations to squeeze as much power as possible..
You kind of need to spend at least a grand or more to outlast consoles due to optimization gaps that increases...
I like the Metal gear PS4 a little more because it's two tone and has nice gold accents, to me it looks like they put more effort into it, which I like. I haven't seen Sony do something like that, ever. Used to seeing only Microsoft bother. I mean has anyone here ever seen Sony do something like this: http://assets1.ignimgs.com/...
That used to be the only thing that made me envious d...
"Paying for server up keep and quality service/updates."
That's what I used to think too, but really their only paying for servers to run basic services, they don't pay for or lend servers(as far as I know) to run multiplayer games for third party titles, which are more common. Just first party games under them, if even that.
Their paying to run servers on their own core services aside from hosting multiplayer is the cost of doing business a...
Just wait until they announce Metal Gear Phantom Pains install size, we haven't seen jack yet! lol.

Seriously excited for this and Phantom Pain. I already paid them off, now for Battlefront and the new Naruto game and 2015 will be complete for me.
Awesome. Thx!
Is it gonna be like the PC version of spotify, where you can pick specific songs to play? Or like mobile where it shuffles on a playlist.
I own a PS4 and have tried alot of the "free" games they offer, theres months that are great where they include a top notch indie game that even mainstreamers like such as, Outlast. Or good AAA content like Infamous first light DLC, then theres months ( feels like most of the time) of random retro indies or just indies of no interest to me.
I think it would be better if they had a specialized lineup for PS4 owners since alot of them are newcomers that don't even...
@ Griever
"The service is for offering us multitplayer and exclusive promotions/discounts. "
Except that their online isn't really providing the greatest service as the frequent PSN shutdowns show. We seem to be just paying for access to multiplayer only, Sony has been slow to upgrade it's infrastructure which is even more important than the "free" games they give, which IMO for the most part besides a few standouts like Infamous L...
Alien and Shadow of mordor where hands down the best new multiplats I've played on PS4.
Only exclusives im interested in from PS4 are No mans sky, Planetside 2 and Rachet and clank. If I also had an Xbox I would get Halo 5 and get all the multiplats im interested in on PS4. Already payed off batman and metal gear, just waiting on reviews for Battlefront and a price drop for new Naruto game.
You gonna buy it after you try it out?
if not GTFO, lol.
