Any vids on what it looks like in person? I couldn't find any.
Isn't this a similar tactic to what Destiny does? Also a reason I didn't like it. Sucks since this is one of my favorite sleeper hits during a usually crowded gaming season, but gives me more money for the inevitable Uncharted collectors edition or batman GOTY, Booyah!
ACU is still cheaper on Amazon.
I think it stems from the fact that PS Plus is required now to play online, so people are looking for something to justify the $50 they now have to pay. And for PS4 owners unless the games offered appeal to them, then Sony really isn't offering PS4 owners much unless they have the other platforms like PS3 and Vita. That's likely the reason most don't like to see others complain about indies is because they already have the other platforms still and are set.
I wrot...
Maybe, but thats assuming it's even that expensive to pay indie devs, sony has a lot of negotiating power, esp being the friendliest indie platform outside of Steam. Besides the only people getting their moneys worth out of ps plus are people who have multiple platforms like PS3 or Vita. There's still alot of PS4 owners who migrated or no longer have the other systems for whatever reason. Looking at it like that and what costs Sony anything, it's clear their biggest expenses are t...
They already give subs half a dozen games across multiple platforms every month, why not give PS4 only owners more flexibility. It's already known sony makes its highest margins off the PS plus service, especially since they don't pay to run servers for the most played games which are usually third party. They can easily afford to give more choice, but it might not be convenient for them, just my two cents as someone who's only on PS4. I dont care for the PS3 or Vita, I just want ...
This idea was close to being perfect, but why cant each person decide for themselves from the selection what they like? Why does it have to be a popularity contest? Just ruins the appeal of having a "Choice". I think im looking more and more foward to the day sony is forced to step up ps plus offerings when they stop supporting PS3.
I usually find the cross play indies offered too niche, the main two games offered every month are what Im really in it for. I was liking the idea of this until I read on to find everyone is voting for one game for everybody to download, I thought each person could pick their own. Really not a fan of that idea, but we'll see what the community picks. I'm looking more toward PS3 support dropping so we can get better deals for us PS4 only people.
@ dual
I was under the impression that the votes were individual and everyone was picking what game they would pickup for themselves, wow this is not what I was expecting, I guess it was too good to be true -_-
Yeah I'm digging this idea, but they should include something that's more mainstream, atleast one retail game in the mix to please people that are not into indies.
How exactly? Oh wait you ran out of bubbles, lol.
I'm just saying instead of completely chosen for us games we can have atleast some flexibility in what we can have. One thing I'm noticing is Sony is probably making a killing on people who only have a PS4, and they only get two games a month, usually indie and usually something too niche most months, only three Ps Plus indie games that I can remember of the top of my head had mainstream appeal since the PS4 launched :...
I wish sony would give more options on the games you get a month, like a choice on two sets of games either set A or set B.
Example set A could be all indie, set B could be one indie and one retail game, just to keep people wanting more retail games content. They've built up a library to do it more often by now, time to stop being stingy Sony.
I still remember the fanboys posting fry memes about it eating up the price increase on a single player season pass...suckers! lol.

I still havent fisnihed the season pass, been sitting on it for months, lol.
Planetside 2 never got a mention and it's F2P...
Replace the overdone annual fodder of call of duty and destiny with something like Metal gear and No Mans Sky, and you will have a MUCH better list. Also, remasters shouldn't count as a reason to buy a console, there's completely new games optimized from the ground up for the new console gen that aren't just up-rezed versions of older games. For example, Just Cause 3, Fallout 4 that may still launch this year, or even Mad Max could be a better candidate.
@ vickers, Yeah I had same issue with my headset, but instead they returned mine and claimed it was abused/misued, pissed me off since it was under warranty. supervisor in support didnt wana help me out either, stingy call on their part. New pair I got was $30 from gamestop and so far, much better build quality.
The way Microsoft is doing BC for the Xbox one isn't even native, it's emulating to run the older games. Why cant Sony do it? Well look at their PS Now service. I really doubt it's a technical limitation, it would just cannibalize their sales, simple as that.
I already sold off my PS3 games long before the PS4 launched to buy another controller for my PS4 so I really have no reason to revisit older titles, But it's painfully clear to me that Sony is just putti...
I may be a sony guy, but I'll give credit where credit is due. MS does a much better job in general of not only wrapping the design around the entire console and controller, but adding custom boot-up sounds as well, The best PS4 bundle I've seen was the MGS V bundle that you said without a doubt, and it's not even a U.S release. If they also added custom sounds it would be a knockout.
just imagine these two bundles available around the holidays at a BestBuy in the...
