Also, fixed bugs and more mature online community since I bet alot of people will make this game last a while, maybe as long as Destiny?
There seems to be three crowds for this game. The first crowd are gonna buy it regardless of anything, since this is the only attempt at the battlefront series we've seen in a decade, the second(like me) are more worried about EA having the reputation that they have and pushing this game out potentially before it's even ready to line up with a movie release and milking it with DLC along the way(looks at deluxe edition). The third probably arent gonna buy it at all because of the missi...
I noticed some of the games on the list are series put as separate games to meet the "50" count. Still good list, but for Resistance why exclude the original and instead put in the cartoony sequel's? The original set the story and a more gritty/realistic atmosphere for the series and was arguably the best at doing so. None of the other resistance games told the story as well as Rachel Parker did in RFOM.
This game is feeling rushed...
Im still on the fence on this game, but even it it doesn't turn out to be that great. It's still not all bad, it just saves the cautious gamer money for something else, like for me, I already paid off Metal gear and Batman because the developers behind it have a solid reputation. But if this game fails I'll probably pick up Naurto ninja storm 4 instead, win-win.
Look at what else is coming multiplat or exclusives wise.. for Microsoft there's still Halo 5 to lo...
"Anyone who buys Call of Duty or Battlefield most likely isn't buying it for the campaign."
It used to be the case, atleast for COD that people bought WW2 themed COD's exclusively for the campaign( the campaign of the WW2 COD's often won awards on their own merit) and the multiplayer was a nice bonus or secondary reason. Advanced Warfare made a decent effort to make an interesting campaign, more so then any other recent COD to memory next to COD 4. The d...
im only 21 lol
I just wanted to share somethings I've noticed...
As hyped as I am for this game I haven't pre-ordered it. I'm waiting until reviews come out after the fact before I do. It's been 10 years since they've touched this series and EA and DICE have their hands on it, which to me doesn't bode a lot of confidence. Add to that the fact as others have pointed out that Disney had acquired the license for the Star Wars series relatively recently(2013) which means...
"I literally have PS3 and 360 games that are no longer available and can still pop into my download list and download them anytime I want"
Try doing that if Xbox live ever went down, lol.
"There is NO circumstance where purchasing something digitally is a rental"
In general most digital distributors can pull content like they did here for licensing issues, or other issues they deem are worth pulling content for, completely...
This is why digital sucks...its just a rental with unknown conditions for termination.
No gameplay except to those who are at the event in person.... WTF?
*sigh* come on EA your killing me here: http://i2.kym-cdn.com/photo...
Aint nobody but super easy to please fanboys satisfied with these fluff pieces of crumbs you give out. Give us something to actually look forward to!
IMO the paid themes from third party developers so are kinda lame in general, most of whats available for even dynamic themes isn't even that creative. For example I saw one developer that reused the same track for multiple themes and the only thing animated where the heads of the characters moving up and down, Really? Even the never ending maze screensaver from windows 95' or the pipes from XP, were more creative and Dynamic then most of the "Dynamic" paid themes on the sto...

There added some audio to enhance your post, lol.
LAME! this dastardly move by Konami has diminished my potential trade in value from gamestop when they inevitably SPAM my inbox with reminders that I should sell my game to them from $0.50 to $0.10, to then turn around and put it back on the shelf for $50. Guess I'll be keeping it then!
And I already paid it off in Full! Damn you Konami for denying me Gamestop's exceptionally generous 40 cent difference!!
On a side note: Everyone should draw a doodle ...
One thing to note from that NeoGAF source:
"All attendees will have a chance to see gameplay behind closed doors during the show"
So i'm not sure if this will mean less gameplay if any in the actual trailer or what, but that's what was being thrown out there in the comments. Hopefully what they do share is enough. Also, not to sound like a negative Nancy, however as someone else pointed out in the comments :

I looked through the entire catalog a month ago and only found 3 themes I liked and it was mostly down to the music:

Just wanted to add/summarize.
Planetside just requires more hands-on teamwork then other games because of the amount of people your coordinating with. It's not always an anally strict game( my clan used to goof around a lot) just needs to be played a little differently. It's a different experience.
Besides that the only other con I noticed may have only been pertinent to me, but when I played, the game ran a bit outside the borders of my TV and there ...
As a former PC Planetside player I know the immediate issue with this beta seems to be a lack of organized groups, I know that random squads/ platoons can be formed, but they lack experience with the game and in coordinating in large groups so the experience suffers. It's something you have to break in for it to get "fun". A platoon leader should know the map by heart, and the rest of the squads should be able to follow orders exactly, with only some rudimentary knowledge of th...
Also it may be likely given the interest in matching the movies release window that they cut features and stuck to multiplayer to make it in time.
