It's new because he stated he would have voiced Claptrap if he got an apology for the assault and residuals for his previous work. He got neither. This article is confirming that the assault did happen and wasn't just he said he said. Not enough to warrant charges, but enough to want an apology for it.
8 is good, so not much of a gamble. Curious how others that haven't broke the street date will go. Either way, it's your money.
The combat is fun from 1 to 30. Its just at max level, the rewards are crap for your time investment. The most fun with loot people have had, have been from loot bugs after patches that made loot actually drop, but were patched within 12 hours... Basically you can play a couple hours and get 0 high end drops, or drops you get are crap compared to lower tiers (I have a bunch of masterwork that have better random stats than the legendary versions).
The streams when they...
Just did 2 hordes while hunting collectibles, never saw a health bar as it wasn't selected. You don't want to see it, you don't have to. Its there for an option.
Yep, you can do every horde well before the end of the game. It is just a matter of whether you're geared enough to kill them. People have done the Sawmill horde before the quest and you just skip having to do that, and hop to the cutscene. Only thing is, you don't know how many are left and if one wonders away and you don't see it, you might lose it and then have to do them all over again. Also, if you don't want the horde bar, I believe you can just not select them or se...
The story is slow at first as it has you run around getting familiar with the world and gameplay. But after you find a black helicopter, the story picks up and is very good in the end.
Heck, they even put in a wheel to craft on the fly as hundreds of freakers chase after you :P
Most devs listen to player feedback, especially when they tear it to shreds. Bioware has just been ignoring everyone and losing people left and right... People complain about loot surimg a stream and they complain that no one is asking qurstions about level design..
I ran into several hordes early on. Explore the nero checkpoints and research stations, and you'll find them...
It's a zombie shooter with a huge open world, skill trees, crafting on the fly, a motorcycle with a bunch of customization, lots of collectibles, has multiple ways to tackle most missions (stealth, guns blazing, lure horde to the humans, set traps all around), bunch of zombie types, lots of side quests, faction rep, a bunch of guns (including a crossbow with 6 ammo types), a good story (slow to start, but picks up), and huge hordes of zombies. It has its bugs, but is still a solid 8 and ...
Technically you can play the ps4 versions of ultimate 1 and 2 on the Vita and stream it over the internet several states away from your system.
@Sam. Issues over lack of loot gone ignored (they complained in a live stream no one was asking about level design when everyone asked about loot), communication was great at first then they went into hiding, roadmap is abandoned, elysian chests removed with new update, store is still a crap drip feed instead of letting people buy what they want, and the player base is shrinking so filling groups is fun at times.
The game isn't dead, but its circling the drain if Biowar...
Bullying has been around for a long time, it's not new. Luckily people have the ability to mute people or put them on ignore in this day and age...
Exactly. Flashbacks also explain why only Boozer was there and no one else. If people (including 'reviewers') played the game, they'd understand.
*SPOILER* If you play the game, that part is actually explained later and she does it as a joke or such. When he proposes to her, she tells him that he can't say that cheesy 'ride me as much as you ride your bike' line. She in turn says it to him during their wedding."
It's called good PR. Trying to put on a good public face, when the F over employees out of sight. The higher ups are just gonna take a 2 hour lunch. If it was all day or striking till change, then things might be different.
Great PR there. "Hey, you know how you voiced Claptrap for free all those years? We know you left, but want to do it again for free? Ignore the millions of dollars we'll be making off this game when it launches / the microtransactions...."
He did it for free before, as he was salaried for a different position. After leaving the company, he wants to get paid so they went another way. Sad they got rid of the classic voice.
Would you rather them release little patches quickly, or wait and let people deal with bugs? Other games release 0 patches and dont fix anything for a while (cough Anthem cough), yet it's a problem when they're working quickly to fix little things.
Golden path? If you mean doing everything, sure. I've gotten the plat and have several more hordes left to kill, and I've spent a lot more than 50 hours just having fun. But the main story alone was clocked at around 30 hours according to the creative director. Comparing the two here is a 3 to 1 difference with just the main story. Hopefully they have a lot of side quests to fill in your time with. It looks like a fun game, just lacking a bit in the length.
