That's what happens when you blindly support a product on name alone and pay out the ass for cheap hardware and tech for overpriced products when companies are busting there asses to give you an all in one machine and games like uncharted, battlefield, etc and don't get the support they deserve. The casual masses are sheep bandwagon jumpers and they don't really care about the medium. When the industry dries up because of them they'll jump to the next fad.
All platforms except for 360. American media has been bought out for the most part by Microsoft and whoever can't see it is stupid. Microsoft have always tried to monopolize any industry they enter. I mean where do you guys think your xbox live fees are going every year. UI updates every year don't cost that much...they are controlling game related media and news...

Actually it wouldn't work like that. If a company is throwing down extra money then they expect to have exclusive timing so if Sony and Microsoft both payed, one would have to pay more to get that exclusivity or else it'd be a waste of money. That's why this type of shit is unfair and I know Sony does it too but Microsoft started it a long time ago.
It's definetly microsofts influence that keeps every aspect sub-par on ps3 and pc. Microsoft gives them money and activision tells their devs to make COD games deliberately superior on 360 which just isn't right for this industry and It is so plain to see that if you really pay attention but most COD fans don't bother. COD, Activison and Microsoft have helped to make this gen shady as hell and they aren't on the consumers side anymore and I hope you all can see that.

What really baffles me is how many improvements that famitsu seem to point out yet they scored FFXIII a 39/40 which, to me, says that I should take the review with a grain of salt either way. It sounds like a better game but apparently FFXIII was also a great game, worthy of only a point less.

correction...music is one of the most important elements in any movie, game, etc, in any genre, period. The right song at exactly the right moment will immerse you in the action/drama and bring out the feelings, in you, that the character(s) is/are feeling right at that moment and that is the key to a good scene imo.
That's not a plot device tho...a paradox is an easy cop out explanation in most stories that try really hard to have an unexplainable twist. It's rarely done correctly and elegantly. Some good examples are the movie donnie darko, inception etc or games like legacy of kain soul reaver series or FF8.
