That 500 mil won't have been spent already, there isn't enough air time... They won't have spent half of it yet.
Besides, wasn't it said on here that MS make (approximately) $90 per Kinect sold? That's not including other games, or other consoles that are sold for Kinect.

Please let GoW's multiplayer not be packed with lag. I loved Gears 2... But the lag was horrific!
It's a reasonable increase in sales for the 360. Though it still is nowhere near enough to make a dent in the Japanese console market!
I know I am going to get flamed and disagreed with, but what I am going to say in this comment is purely fact. No lying, No attempt at fanboy comments, Just fact about numbers.
Current gen (approximate) worldwide sales (million):
Wii - 75 (~50%)
360 - 40 (~25%)
PS3 - 40 (~25%)
I am NOT saying these are exact, but they are near approximate. One console may have sold 5 mil more, or 5 mil less... But these are approximate.
... The very first hour the Halo:Reach beta came out it was near impossible to play online. I think it remained near impossible til the next day! And as far as I'm aware, only a maximum of three mill could've been trying to access that (As you could only play if you owned ODST). GT is pretty big (I think), so I wouldn't be suprised if there are a good few mil attempting to get online!
Just give it time, the servers will pick up. It's just something you have ...
If the GT fans enjoy the game, then who cares about what this guy thinks? Or what anyone thinks for that matter!
Similarly to the Forza fans in here! If you love Forza, it shouldn't bother you if others are flaming it!

99/38 is approximately the same as 149/56. Both companies are looking at similar profit margins (percentage wise)

But in the UK, Modern warfare 2 was released by almost all supermarkets at TWENTY SIX POUNDS!! That's almost half UK RRP... And I can't remember the exact MW2 sales figures here, but I am certain the game was insanely popular before it's release, so it didn't exactly need a price cut!
