I think it's you that should be using your head tbh. A fanboy wouldn't acknowledge other good titles.. Or they'd list titles in a specific order even though they'd only seen demo footage of both :).

EDIT: OT: The list is pretty good! All those games seem like they're going to shine!! I just really REALLY want them to show what BF will look like on consoles. BF:BC2 looked stunning on all formats, so i'm intrigued to see what BF3 will actually look like for us console gamers.
The game looks outstanding... That's all that matters. Not to mention, if the beta is anything to go by, plays outstanding too.
And for us (small percentage) of 360 players, I think the PS guys are a little envious of Gears 3. It was just confirmed that UC3 will run at 30 fps which is more than fine (and the PS guys are more than happy with that, as I would be!), but if the same announcement was made for Gears 3 it'd be a riot about how bad 30 fps is.

I see what you're saying.. But of all the places to choose that scene they pick London? Most other big cities (apart from Madrid) could have had a similar scene without causing nearly as much offence. As I said, I do completely get your point... But I think (as a sign of respect) they should atleast take some measures to avoid direct reference..
I really think whoever thought up this train scene should have some respect... They know full well about 7/7, yet they choose to use a derailing in London? Just to get a bit of extra press?
These guys should learn some damned tact... some things just shouldn't be made, and I think this sort of thing should be avoided.

I agree.. personally I think the 360 pad is the best...
But Kon's opinion is just a viable, as there are millions out there who think the Dual shock is the best pad (not to mention that all in all it's probably sold half a billion which weighs in its advantage!!)
It's all preference, giving one controller the 'best ever' label isn't really possible because it is FULLY dependant on who is using it.

That's only true if you don't include all consoles... Like, Just including home consoles that (beginning with PS1 and N64, as the SNES was the gen before (sort of)) then yeah, Sony has beaten the competition sales wise... But include all consoles that have een out while Sony's been there (PSP, GBA, DS and maybe a chunk of GBC sales) and Nintendo are the strongest!

Lol the thing is that if you're running on a treadmill, it's difficult to do anything else! Like, even though you are running directly forwards (well, in place) it's tough to keep running straight unless you're sort of concentrating on what you're doing (I freaking hate treadmills btw).. But if they had one with a cycling machine I think it's work!

Fair point, mate... Tbh, I haven't read an Edge article in a long LONG time so I have no idea what they are like now...
But back when I did read them (before the 360 and PS3), they were good... Marked harshly but fairly. If they've changed now then it is a shame :(

Edge were marking all games like that for a long LONG time, before Simon Cowell appeared (I'm fairly sure anyway!). And that's a fairly large number of people you're grouping into the definition of online gamers!!
To be honest, this is another flame bait article from a site begging for hits. I understand that there are times when we should have lots of news about a particular subject on n4g... and the PSN downtime is clearly someth...
I think its a good piece of kit. And it does work! But yeah, I do understand why people are on the fence about it as so far there has been nothing like, non party oriented.
Just keep an open mind though, guys! When something appears on it that you think looks ok, give it a whirl as you might enjoy it :).
Only bad thing I can say about the article is the misuse of the word "it's"...
