Seriously especially since it's a Ubisoft game it'll be down in price before the change of season.
I saw certain outlets offering Syndicate nearly half off after a month. And even Seige has gotten sale prices in the past 2 months.
Seems to me like these big game companies have been fallingshort on their sale expectations. I guess people are being smart and not falling for all this $100-120 schemes with "season pass" crap.
Yup, I have all consoles and my PC.
I prefer multi-platform games on PC since they run and look better for me.
But all my exclusives I get on their respective console or for the PS4. Rock Band, Destiny, and the such.
This MKX port, were we not only lied to, we got shafted hard.
Yea, if it wasn't for the bad press on for PC, I would have bought it. But a lot of people have said it was bad.
I'll wait for a 50%+ sale to pick it up. No arcade mode, lacking options, performance issues, and of course sluggish multiplayer, make this a no go for now.
I don't know why we have to wait so long for it though. It was announced last year June that it would be coming to PC.
But damn has this been a long wait.
I don't care if GabeN announced Half-Life 3. With all the rumors and speculation from the past few years, I can't even anymore.
I need to either see it on Steam for sale and download, or a physical box with the installation disc on my desk.
We want this, we expect this, we need this.
Honestly, if I didn't have the money and I didn't get games as cheap as I do. I'd wait a lot longer, not buy day one, and maybe even pirate some of the bigger offenders.
But this isn't the case. Getting games nearly 50% off and often times with the season passes included is great.
I'm hoping this succeeds, because if the bottom line is that I get to play these games that would have never probably came to PC, then I'm all for it.
What I don't want is to Microsoft to treat it like the Games For Windows Live store.
Rise of the Tomb Raider had issues - and may still have, at launch.
If anyone recalls GFWL Store had some exclusives, but they were dead. They had Dark Void with full support, Gears of War they had ...
Mechanics and game play. Don't read to much into things you'll get disappointed.
They tried a unique style of weaponry and in my opinion pulled it off well.
No one ever said it's a gift from god, but was it really as bad as people made it out to be not at all.
We are in the generation were literally everything has been done. And there is very little room for improvement.
This was a great game. Developer that took mechanics and gameplay that have already been done, but tried to do something a bit more inventive with it.
The Order 1886 is the PS4's Heavenly Sword. Short and sweet game, that didn't get the praise and recognition it should have.
Don't know what else people were expecting of this game. I think the overwhelming bad press about this, made me like it that much more or something.
Maybe this is what they wanted all along?
Just some money for the creators of the content.
@Ultranova,
I know and it scares the crap out of me as to where gaming will be in the next few years.
Single Player only games getting season passes, is just ridiculous. When I know 90% of that content was already created.
But I digress. As you said we are already here.
Don't waste your breath. I've said this before as well.
I didn't have to see the numbers to know it was true. When I hear young people who come into my Teamspeak talk about it, or even grown men with well paying jobs, saying they won't buy a game.
And as you say invasive DRM or exaggerated prices hurt.
A lot of these PC gamers now seem to be the new school that love DLC and season passes, and don't know about the ridiculous DRM sch...
Absolutely nothing. Most people who pirate stuff are either not financially inclined to buy it or weren't going to buy it in the first place.
I don't pirate games, but its too easy over spending $30-100 for games.
Unrestricted access?
LMAO, have you read the ToS and EULAs of the games nowadays?
I buy my games too, but to believe you have unrestricted access is hilarious.
1700 Steam games and counting. Nearly all AAA games.
Just like the link to this article, it's no more.
Girlfriend and/or real life friends.
I bought my girl Rise of the Tomb Raider for Christmas and just recently for myself on PC.
I have an Xbox One for her and for me to play with friends - rarely bit it's there for me.
And of course my PC my powerhouse for visuals.
How active is Evolve on consoles? It's pretty much dead on PC sadly. I loved that game too.
Umm, I hope so. What was the purpose of the Season Pass if there wasn't going to be DLC.
Yea, I don't understand why people proclaim HD/Remaster. When the PC version can be visually stunning years into the future.
You can crank a lot of games to extremely high settings. You can down sample from 4k which is always a huge plus, and someone out there made something to enhance the game.
Zero wtf are you talking about?
You don't know of that at all. He didn't mention anything about the story being bad. He's literally asking about end game content that Ubi has not spoken of.
Where the hell do you come with this left field crap.
