Yes it works to an extent. Look at how many people don't buy games using Denuvo.
And look at how many games are successful as well while not using it.
DRM is useless and usually hazardous. People weren't going to buy the fame anyways.
The Division to date 500,000 copies on PC uses Denuvo. XCOM2 2 million copies only DRM, Steam.
XCOM dude, a freaking turn based game sold like hot cakes. I love the game too.

Amazing game, but its ridiculous to say that even maxed out on PC the game looks better on the Xbox One for some reason.
I can't get it to go above 1920x1080 either using Nvidia's DSR. Can't find any files to change either.
At this point I'd love a rerelease on Steam or GoG, and them a sequel.
The first was a gem, while the sequel was great and better in terms of game play and graphics, it wasn't as captivating, still very few games pulled it off as well as The Suffering.
Would welcome a sequel.
Really amazing game
To play certain games, and the fact that Win10 silently installs and 7/8/8.1 won't be supported in the very extremely near future.
Yea, we were forced to deepthroat and swallow.
Also MS is forcing certain things to only work on Win10, luckily some things where enabled for 7/8, but the fact still remains.
No the comparison is inevitable because they are all gaming platforms.
Think of it as comparing cars. You have low, mid, high end, and super luxury high end vehicles, efc...
Consoles fit in one category, while PCs can fit anywhere depending the build.
Also the fact that they are based on X86 architecture is extremely irrelevant. Most don't even know what that is or what it does.
My lord this site has gone to shit. The hypocrisy in this site is just ridiculous already.
I loved The Order 1886, but so many people bashed it and bad mouthed it, not since its compared to an Xbox One game it was actually good.
This is ridiculous, the level of band wagon richard suckers is crazy already.
I got my copy pre-ordered and will wait for the PC version to play it. 2 For 1 deal, can't go wrong with that.
Lets se...
He has a point. And the end of the day what MS does won't really affect developers. Whether a game gets released on Steam, Origin, disk, or Windows Store they will get their money. Semantics and pure numbers aside from what each platform takes for their cut, but they make their money.
Us, the consumer on the other hand are the ones to get screwed and we should definitely take it personal. I loved GFWL, when it actually worked. And would have loved to see it supported and...
@MCTJIM
You aren't too bright huh?
If the past 20+ years of Microaoft's existence has taught anyone anything, is that MS always screws up.
In the case for gaming, look at gaming on Vista was. Mandatory Games For Windows Live, today mandatory Windows Store. Vista/7 botched game launches and software. Win10 botched games and software. Games For Windows Live goes completely unsupported and ultimately gets dropped.

I have the digital download, but would like to have it on disk for my collection.
Waiting and hoping that the season pass goes on sale, so I can actually play the game this time around, just watch my girl play it before. Awesome game, helped her with a few portions but I'd like to get into it this time.
Hopefully what was envisioned for the first one will actually happen.
Fable 1 and 2 were good games, 3 was okay. But if what was originally intended for the original Fable actually happens, it would be amazing.
Lets hope Microsoft is smart enough to make this happen, or whoever holds the IP.
There are tons of horror games out.
Just play almost any game at launch and you'll shit yourself with horrible it is.
There was thus revolutionary feature that was added to a lot of these games.
I believe it was called the mute feature. You can magically silence other online idiots from talking. Some kind of spell of some sort.
I laughed, coughed, and shit a little. Luckily I was on the toilet.
Since this website is purely shit material.
Exactly. For the simple fact that they Michael Fassbender on Assassin's Creed and Uwe Bowl isn't directing it, everything seems that it will be extremely promising.
In all honesty movies since like the original Transformers have been so action packed and full of CG, that people don't notice crappy storylines, or huge plot holes.
It became the hottest new IP, because there is nothing else that is new from a new studio.
Everything else has an established studio working on it. Whether it's Remedy's Quantum Break, or Guerilla's Horizon, we can expect good games from them.
Massive has something to prove and from what they've shown, it looks promising.
When you reference your own website that many times, I just can't take your website seriously.
Also why speak of the alternatives like this. Let this spread privately through word of mouth.
Sooner or later sites like these, because there are tons more, are going to notice a lot more traffic and slowly raise their prices, just lower than the competition.
It's been said the episodes/cutscenes will be streamed/downloaded and won't be on disc.
Idiots like you, that don't know the facts or even care to look and verify things I'd why bing profits for companies are on the rise, but gaming quality as a whole is declining.
Well the fact that games are backwards compatible in terms of DirectX, this was completely intentional on Microsoft part.
Well its mainly because people just aren't smart.
I have every Rock Band title and literally over 500 pieces of DLC for the game not including the few I can't redownload for RB4.
This game is the main reason my PS4 gets used.
I am going to happily help fund this and hope for the best.
Wonder what will happen with DLC, backlog songs, and instruments
I wish someone could list the best graphical and game play mods. I sadly played this game too much before all the DLC came out, and have too many games in my backlog to look through all the stuff and start over.
Wouldn't mind if someone had a beautiful config of what mods to use for visuals and game play, would love. Skyrim is a great game.
A bit rough around the edges, nevertheless an amazing title. Can't wait for Elder Scrolls 6 in 2018, maybe lol. ...
