You know people on this site can't handle the truth or anything negative.
But to the game, the performance could be better. It's not bad either for me. I do see frame dips from 60 so that is a bit annoying.
If I can get a smooth 60fps would be magical. The game looks great but those dips are just too noticeable.
Let's hope they make some improvements.
Do any of you know what HDR even is? HDR is the most useless visual effect in the world. Now before the disagrees start hitting, I have this game pre-ordered, but HDR is a visual effect that simulates artifacts as a camera.
PC has had this for years. Hell Outcast I believe had it, and that came out in 2001. HDR was integrated into "Bloom" effects. And we didn't need "special, 4K, HDR" enabled TVs. It is just a gimmick.

I either play on my large TV or monitor with my girlfriend or nieces. So yea people do this.
Do want a guy friend to sit next to me and play. Not really, but I am grown. And even that is doable.
But yes, the more splitscreen games on PC the better.

I wanted this game, it looked great, but after hearing all that stuff about it, I don't think $40 is justifiable. This console generation was been complete garbage. They have had some great exclusives Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, Uncharted 4. But the overall performance and sheer lack of power has been ridiculous.

I don't think the price point really matters. I think the tables have flipped in Sony's favor this generation substantially.
Sony has had the advantage with more exclusives and better performance, were the 360 did in the previous gen.
Now Sony is doing what Microsoft also did last gen with releasing a slightly inferior competitor but earlier and at an average price point.

I don't give two shits if its remade or remastered. Just release the damn games again in the US. We never got to see the release of Shenmue 2 here, unless you imported or downloaded it. Which I had to do both.

A 2 hour, 2 week policy is BS. I have 1800 Steam games just so you don't think I'm talking out my ass or something.
You'll never know how good or bad something like a game is in 2 hours. For indie games I understand some of them aren't very long, but at least a 4-6 hour playtime to actually get into a game. Typically the first 2-3 hours or missions are the biggest showcases of the game, and never mind if it has lengthy dialogue or cut scenes.
No, what added depth to Titanfall were the Titans. The wall running and all that crap was done before, not successfully but still done. It was still a basic shooter.
Titans is what made the game. Added a fresh new feature to shooter genre.
Sucks its not an official S controller. To me it looks crappy. I'll stick with my Elite and soon to arrive Gears of War Elite controller.
Considering this is coming off of a server and not an actual PS3, why can't it be upscaled since again, its being ran off of a server. The processing power is there...the bandwidth is there.....All they'd need to do is upscale up or down depending on the connection to the client.
Also a expert network engineer can accomplish this. Upscaling can be possible and should as well on PC. I know they've been working on this stuff with Gaikia w/e the hell it was called ...
Oh yea don't get me wrong, when they reduced the entire collection to about $50 it was great, but I think they should do a better job and lowering the price in general or promoting those sales harder.
I hope they'd put a "Hey you played/are playing this, well this is on sale" type of thing. The point of Forza Horizon 2 still being full price is just ridiculous.

I'd like to see Forza 5 though, or at least see the GoTY on sale for less than $10. I think console developers and publishers shoot themselves in the foot having such high prices for games for such a long time.
Forza Horizon 3 is about to release and 2 is still a typical $60. Nevermind adding the DLC will bring it to about $150-170.
I get where you are coming from with the whole bots thing, but the maps are way too big.
I'm more than sure it started off without bots, and they said this game seems dead. Imagine the game without bots, all the running around you'd have to do. The bots give it a sense of atmosphere, depth, and life. I'm not saying I like it either, this would be awesome if it were 24 players and only 12 Titans at any given time or something but 6v6 with bots is okay for me.
Well Sony has Playstation Now which will eventually include PS4, and possibly even legacy and handheld titles. So, Sony is okay.
